No you don't. I was trying to come up with a good metaphor as to what creates a good exoskeleton and realized one already exists:

I heartily recommend watching that whole film if you ever wish you had a "thicker skin" ;)

Classic. Powerful. Disturbing.
I've been lucky enough to catch this show live and I re-watch the movie at least once a year.

I used to have a similar routine of rewatching it periodically to "keep things real" :)

Haven't done so in a few years though. Should get back into the habit.

Floyd was the first concert I ever went to. Not The Wall tour mind you.

Maybe :) I find it to be oddly cathartic and somehow always relevant personally.
I have never been nor will I ever be a rock star but I can readily identify with parts of the story it tells.

Yup, absolutely the same. I used to force myself to watch it after pretty much any major traumatic experience in my life as a way to force myself to feel what was going on and not suppress it.

It's kind of like listening to the blues that way in terms of both catharsis and making you feel like you aren't alone in whatever it is you're going through :)

IMO, the "rock star" bit is just the very surface level of that story. I think just about anyone would find something to relate to in it.

To me, it's no more of a story about a rock star than it is a 2 hour music video :)

100% Agree with you there. I wasn't taking the unique snowflake angle. ;) Consider it more of a purposefully vague confession to strangers about thoughts and feelings I wouldn't admit to my closest friends.

Wow. That... had some really powerful emotion behind it. I feel like my heart stopped beating right there at the end.

Thank you for showing me this.

Better. Got some new glasses that have helped out and which have brought back some of my productivity. Been pumping out BTSM releases the past couple of weeks as a result.

Still have my appointment with the specialist upcoming in around a week. Took them forever to schedule one for me.

Well, the news isn't entirely good, but it isn't all bad either :)

I've been holding off on saying anything as I'd rather just speak through results once I feel I am ready to.

Whoops, sorry I touched on something you really didn't want to talk about there. I should have realized if you wanted to talk about it you probably would just have done so. In any case glad to hear it's (sort of) being taken care of.

Nah, it's fine man. I've been feeling torn on the whole "should I say something?" subject myself, and I appreciate the concern. I know there must be a segment of the community that's wondering what's going on with me and what the future of BTW holds, and I do feel rather awkward not being able to provide a clear answer to that.

I'm just the kind of guy that prefers to demonstrate my ability to do something rather than talk about it, and I tend to feel odd going on about stuff unless I'm absolutely certain I can produce. Was kinda one of the major motivating influences behind BTW in the first place :)

Regardless of what happens with BTW and RTH, I'll be content if your eyes allow you to continue doing what you like most for a couple more decades. :) Anyway, thanks for sharing those news.
