Because sometimes nostalgia is just pure bliss, here's a blast from the past !

Note : I only made ~400 textures, all the others are textures I loved from other packs, so go ahead and show them some love too !

Thanks to the absolutely wonderful dawnraider for allowing me to use some of her work and made updating this TP after almost a decade a much easier task !
Conquest v2.10 plus addon support :
viewtopic.php?t=9690
And credits to Monsterfish_, Conquest author
(this version includes a very partial support for the Deco/Better Terrain addon, mostly using dawn's texture tweaked for this pack, but it would require some additional attention to work properly)

When I updated this TP I used some of Mesh's amazing textures as placeholder, sorry if I forgot to remove some of them, please let me know so I can get to it :
Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix :
viewtopic.php?t=9456

Minecraft Textures from :
Doku : http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/234 ... ased-0909/
Jonh Smith : http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/267 ... ustomizer/
SteelFeathers : http://minecraftcustomizer.net/pack/Ste ... +Enchanted
Vattic's Faithfull : http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/727 ... rt-19-pre/

BTW Textures :
Vattic's Faithfull : http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/727 ... rt-19-pre/
Urian support pack for John Smith : http://sargunster.com/btw/index.php?title=Texture_Packs
Tekei's pack : viewtopic.php?f=3&t=927

Special thanks to Prof Ion for giving me his version of this TP updated to the new textures format ("new", like 6 years ago lol) and fastracking this update :)

Lol! I definitely got a kick out of you stamping the companion-cube face on the bottom of the BD given it's your favorite block.

Companion Dispenser? :)

Eheh, precisely what I had in mind :)
It's a much better companion than the companion cube :)

Hehe...cool. Any problems using high-res textures with the new Forge system btw? I never did know if any existing HD patchers worked properly with the Forge system.

So far so good :)

Quick questions :
What are the textures under the wood rail/obsidian rail detector, and the GearBox-like textures on the right of the crucible/the left of the hopper filters ?

I think they are the vase and hopper respectively aren't they?

Thanks for this Battosay, I was hoping someone would test higher res textures, I haven't had time to play with the new update yet.

The plain old regular HD patcher has always worked just fine with Forge

Good to know that HD-textures work just fine with Forge. I'll try to update my JohnSmith textures tomorrow.

Below the detector rails are the Anchor textures (3 of them, loop, top and bottom, then sides). To the right of the Crucible are the Hopper textures (top, then sides, then bottom, then contents, then filter-types).

Could you upload the texture pack to minecraftcustomizer.net? i like some of the textures but not all of them. (Not trying to be unsupportive though! I really like most of them!)

Nope, sorry. I'm doing this mix for me and my brother actually, and since I got requested a lot for it, I'm willing to share what I did, but that's it, I won't spent more time on it.
You can customize it yourself with gimp, it's free and easy to use, and there's tons of tutorial on youtube ;)

I am getting 404 Error atm when I try to download this. I have been using your TP for a while now though and I love it.

Maybe it's just me, but how do you add the custom BTW block/item textures in?
