Downgrading to 1.6

For thoose of you who accidently updated to 1.7, or thoose who discovered this mod after updating, and just can't wait to play with it, here's a few solution to get your Minecraft back to 1.6 :

First of all, it's illegal to distribute a copy of the game, so don't ask for that !

Minecraft Downgrader :

MCNostalgia : An easy-to-use software that will do the job for most of you :

If you're on Windows 7, this might help :

And if you were using the HDtexture patcher, when you patched the software made a copy of your .jar, you'll have a file called Minecraft1.6.6 in your bin folder. Make a copy of it (ALWAYS DO BACKUPS !) and rename it minecraft.jar

Omfg, im so mad.
I wanted to upgrade to 1.7.2 but i keep getting this error and now i cant even play at all, anybody know how to fix it? Ive had it before but this time i cant get it to work.
Ive reinstalled Java, and re downloaded minecraft.
Error:

LMFAO WHAT DO YOU KNOW, i open up minecraft to see the code to write it here and it ends up working. Wooooooooooooooooow. -_-

Perhaps you should add that distributing a copy of minecraft.jar is disallowed due to legal reasons, just to remind people.

well I'm glad I had time to downgrade a learn some more about this mod, I spent my time learning redstone wiring for a 3x3 hibachi grill where all the grills could be turned on and off by one lever.
- It would have been easier if I could have found a proper tutorial ^^ oh well I used many tutorials to learn how to basic redstone wire
