I added Brimstone, Mould, Iron Nuggets, Broadhead, and Unfired Pottery to the Hopper Filter section.
I know that you probably wont ever need to filter Broadheads but the rest can definitely be produced from automated systems.

Re: BTW Feature Wrapup - Passing the hat
Dave, thanks for the reminder. I have donated several times for this awesome TC but hadn't realized it had been almost 10 months since the last time.
Done!
Thank you FlowerChild! I have spent and enjoyed more time with BTW then any AAA title. Keep up the great work!
I cant wait for TRH!

Re: Hardcore Nether Animals Discussion (Spoilers)
I don't have the the tech in my current world yet, but has anyone who is loosing animals tried looking around with Ender Spectacles? They let you look at Endermen, maybe then let you see dead people too? Interesting idea but I couldn't see anything unusual. Ran through my entire base. Tried looking...

Re: Hardcore Nether Animals Discussion (Spoilers)
Just to add to the observations: 1. Chicken coops: (2 sets of 4 chickens separated by a 1 block wall) located 82 blocks south and 22 blocks above the portal. Not in line of sight. All died within 12 minutes of starting my world with 4.891123. 2. Cow pen: (40 cows in single pen) located 98 blocks dir...

Re: Out of the frying pan (near death stories)
Lighting caves around my base to increase my mob trap drop rate, a creeper dropped through a hole in the gloomy roof. I was barely able to jump away taking 6 hearts of health when he exploded. I was happy to be alive when a skelly dropped through the same hold and shot me on the way down. Down to 1....

Re: Share your hardcore hunger stories
So I started a new world for 4.64. Day 1 - Spawned in a nice little forest next to some jungle a desert. Nice but not an animal is sight. Right at the limit of my render distance was a desert temple. I grabbed some wood, made some tools, then headed for the temple to see what has changed in the last...

Re: Tree Farm Questions...
If you will note, that video is a year old. There have been a lot of changes in both BTW and vanilla minecraft since then. It takes a ridiculously long time for tree to grow if there are any blocks next to where the trunk will grow. I tried that configuration and left it for over 10 RL hours of game...

Re: Hardcore Sheep color crossing/mutations: problem?
So I, have been breeding sheep and have achieved a nice range having only started with 3 white and 1 black: white, black, grey, light grey, blue, pink, brown, lime green. Somehow a wolf spawned inside my base (completely walled and lit), jumped into my sheep breeding pit, and ate them all while I wa...

Wow, I really like the look of that. I never thought Netherbrick, Stone brick, and Wood could look good all together in one wall like that. I may just have to recreate this :) Thanks! I thought it turned out pretty cool. Here is a view of my main gate with Battosay's texture pack. (I am not 100% ha...

[Spoilers] Silverfish question
Apparently I have completely missed the bus on Silverfish. I have a 4 level Obsidian beacon in the End. I have built a nice tasty stone brick house with a stack of stone bricks. I then moved about 50 blocks away to my wooden Enderman farm, left myself logged in, and ate lunch. 20 minutes later I com...

Re: Compact reloading wheat farm?
To compact the design, 'tier' your wheat modules so that the seed output of one module supplies the seeds for the next module. This can be done without the use of elevators. If you 'pull' the planter to harvest the wheat place a hopper with a filter directly below it. Seeds go through, wheat gets p...

Re: Hardcore Beacons *SPOILERS, CHEAT FREE*
I put a glowstone and lapis beacon on top of my mob trap to make it easier to see while building all the levels and placing all the vinetraps. My output seemed OK if maybe a little slower then I expected. I took down those beacons (havent rebuilt them yet) to move them inside my base and I swear tha...

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion
It would make a lot more sense if animals were scared of [moving] minecarts. Arrgh!!! big noisy thing coming at me! I'm outta here! Even that is easy to "game" with powered rails. Just have like 2 carts constantly circling your base. This item is definitely Mojang's least thought out chan...

Re: To Troubled To sleep.
Steve if troubled because he wants to get back home and he is trying to find a way to collect enough power to do it.
All he has to work with are the pathetically weak souls around him and he is wracking his brain for a way to condense and control enough power to break through to his home dimension.

If you just put clay balls in the BD it will take 4 and make a block automatically when you give it power.TaterBoy wrote: (as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong, there is no way to turn clay balls into blocks and then put those blocks into a dispenser.)

Great LPs! Love the "What?! We can build what??? Really!?!" FYI - the windmill sails are colored one after the other, not individually. So to get the purple/white/purple/white that Flora wanted, she would have had to use purple dye then bonemeal then purple then bonemeal. Keep up the good ...

So much for lighting fix.
Nathan Adams @Dinnerbone
I think I'm going to revert the new lighting stuff and come back to it for 1.5. I'd rather get other (actually working) bugfixes in 1.4.
