I made an auto pottery system a while back (like 2 years) which used an elevator to lift excess clay back to the top to reshape into blocks, but that was way before pistons had to be used to automate clay block making.

I think he builds a database from only what people answer about new characters, like in the report about an Eve Online Capsuleer it expects to answer "no" to if they are an astronaut, which I'm pretty sure fits the category.

This genie is so awesome! It can even learn from its mistakes and get new characters in its database. I beat it with Minato Sahashi from Sekirei, but it learned who he is so no one can beat it again. EDIT: Akinator just guessed "Eve Online Capsuleer" so I doubt there's anyone mainstream it...

What I've done is recycle my iron pick to make big stripmines. But with death and all, I haven't been able to do that again for years. If you have good food as well, you could make some iron armor.
