Re: Crashing

I read the error log, and this time under problematic frame, it said this: # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x000084c1, pid=5016, tid=5944 # # JRE version: 7.0_01-b08 # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (21.1-b02...

Re: Crashing

It worked for longer this time, but it still crashed after ~5 minutes. However, I did get to place some blocks (both BTW and BC), until it did crash.

It closed when I had just placed a transport pipe (about the 12th). Not sure why, STILL.

Re: Crashing

Okay, I updated my JRE (and JDK, for good measure) to version 7. I also installed the latest versions of both BTB and BTW. Still happens. I'm gonna try a fresh install now, but I'll be back in a few minutes. EDIT: After a fresh install, it still crashes. Here's modloader.txt, although I don't know i...

Re: 3D Printing Minecraft Maps

Actually, reading the page, the author of it recommends shipping an export of the file to a company called Shapeways, which makes it for you or something like that. Prices varied based on whether the sections were solid/hollow, how big they were, etc, but a 15 X 18 inch section (or similar) was abou...

Crashing

This may or may not be related to BTW or BTB, but here's what's happening: So everything starts up fine as it has been for over a week now, but all of a sudden my creative test world will crash 5-8 seconds after I open the world. I just finished my BTB steel factory, and was going to take some pictu...

I've been thinking about doing a BTW + BTB LP, since there isn't one yet and it'd be good to get some contraptions set up.

Re: BUD Automated cobblestone generator

My usual cobblestone generator is a piston + BD setup, which basically has the pistons pushing the cobble every so often (from a turntable pulse) into a BD, which sucks it up 2 ticks after the pistons push it. (they both get a pulse from the turntable, but the redstone to the BDs have a repeater so ...

Re: BD and anvil GUI error

As a quick aside, the BD is supposed to be 4x4. FC added more slots to help with the use of a BD as a counter (with wool, etc), along with other uses.

Re: how do you guys use the buddy block?

I think it's making an infinite loop because the piston is pushing into the block, updating it, then the buddy block sends a signal, telling the piston to extend, telling the buddy block to send a signal... etc.

And since there's no modloader.txt, I'd say that's most likely the problem.

Re: 45 deg angle blocks

never tried kaevators mod but could imagine items not sliding off. Anyways the idea is simplification of item transport witch is a touchy subject. Also blocks with facing take up many block id's so i doubt we'll see anything like this. I was giving it to you as a solution for your problem, not as a...

Re: Favorite Let's Plays?

Beside Battosay's, I don't really want any Minecraft LPs, at least not the kind where the player's are competent and build amazing things. (Translated as: I watch TobyGames.) Me too >_> He's one of the more amusing idiots out there. Man Tobuscus is awesome. I cringe though, when he leaves extra mat...

Re: 45 deg angle blocks

Doesn't Kaevator (or something like that) have a mod that does this?

Ah, here it is, after a quick google search of minecraft slope mod.

http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/kaev ... minecraft/

Various links went back to here, and I'm sure there's one on the MCF.
