I can see what you mean, aestetic is good, but not if you over do it. They haven't added anything with significant gameplay impact for a very long time. Horses have a gameplay impact but not in a possitive way (not using minecarts or underground tunnels is a bit of a gameplay impact right?) Im excit...

After the changed texture it looks good with staindedclay.

Out of curiousity, how do you handle things like The End on your server? I can imagine most servers having The End completely over built and having void everywhere because people wanted the end stone. (i know its a renewable resource in btw, but people are weird sometimes).

When i create a world i tend to start killing the little fuckers the second i get an axe, mainly because i dont want to get backstapped and I dont want them eating all the animals :)

I think the witches spawning everywhere is another atempt of making the game harder, which is mostly an annoyance as most of Dbs changes.
One thing i do like though is the fixes to stainedglass. Im still not convinced that staindedglass was a good addition but this fix will atleast make it usefull.

What I really like about this update is that hardmode is more interesting and in a lot of cases harder. But I really hate how they made pre-hardmode much easier and simpler by adding gem grabblinghooks and wood armour. Other than that i think this update is pretty cool and i have been playing a butt...

I massively disagree sacrife, being able to hide water with ice was a super uniq and cool thing. It meant that you could use it for underwater buildings where glass looks ugly and the new stainedglass has a big problem which is that you can see the sides through it.

Yeah the new glass really just doesn't look right. The fact that you can see the side of the block when looking through it really ruins it. I have also tried seeing if it looked good with any blocks and it really doesnt fit in. Even with stainded clay it looks out of place because stainded clay is v...
