I just came across this website, and even though everything on it ~probably isn't completely accurate, it's very interesting to read, at least.

It's always annoyed me that in the creative mode menu, you're unable to access all of the different varieties of planters—grass, dirt, and soulsand—without actually crafting them yourself. The only planter available is the empty one. This is just a small change that would make life easier.

Lol, I love how Dinnerbone can't figure out how to fix the redstone-chunk issues, while Flower fixed it a few releases ago :P
