That's absolutely not the case, however bug reports don't belong in a release thread. We've got a bug report section for that.Myratax wrote: Maybe useful posts are forbidden from someone hows not already part of your community...

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
Hostile mob spawning was reduced quite a bit too. Might be that too many people were on but I had no hostiles whatsoever around my base yesterday (at night).FaceFoiled wrote:That's enabled now. :P
Psion said he saw a skeleton though, so it's probably not the difficulty.

Re: Request for BTW & MISA'S Realistic Texture Pack
Regarding Misa's Texture Pack I still can't get it to work properly with the latest McPatcher and BTW. The only mods I have installed are Modloader, BTW and then the MCPatcher stuff all up-to-date too. The problem is that some of the item textures contain overlaps, mainly the potions, with the cloc...

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
I didn't properly keep count but I think our whitelist has between 70 and 80 people on it. Assuming 10% of those will be playing after the upgrade to BTW, we'll be as good as full ... but I'm sure once the initial excitement has passed there will be space for more players. :) Actually I'm looking fo...

Re: Better than Momentum[addon][unreleased, wont be for a wh
Just a little something to consider which I'm not sure about: 1. you're going to need lots of base class edits as you say yourself 2. FC doesn't want his code or parts of it redistributed Please tell me if I'm wrong but I think the 2 points above pretty much limit you to editing base classes FC hasn...

When exactly did this happen to you?
I already had hemp and a millstone and this exact problem only occured when I tried to place a handcrank.

The problem are my art skills really ... If I end up doing this it'll involve heavy use of scissors and glue, not brush and paint. ;)Panda wrote:Make it yourself! And I don't mean it in a bad way. I know it's scary at first but soon it will become your baby, trust me. :D

Re: Request for BTW & MISA'S Realistic Texture Pack
I'm primarily using this pack too.
At the moment I focus on SMP but once I start playing BTW again I'll make a guide on how to get BTW textures of other packs into this one. Maybe I'll make some textures too but no promises on that part.

Re: How am I doing?
Well firstly, if you have to ask this question, something probably didn't go too well. A thread like this also makes me wonder what you want to hear/accomplish? Imo it only invites trouble since people will inevitably "attack" you. Even if it's meant to beconstructive criticism, it will le...

Re: Morvelaira's News Compilation
I hope so. I hope it isn't the case that villages don't become a china store where if a testificate slips and falls down a few blocks and losses a heart or two that the entire village will become hostile to you. Well, it would provide incentive to secure a village at least (and with that to build s...

so that would be an area of around 6300 x 6300 blocks, right? If you pull this off alone without any c&p going on ... I'm going to declare you insane. ;) I have my fair share of experience with huge projects worked at by teams of 3 people or less and the biggest we've ever attempted was about 1 ...

Re: MC 1.3: Pigmen Spawn near Nether Portals
Well, killing the Ghasts in the overworld will still be problematic, but I think this will take care of one of the problems associated with farming them, which is getting them to reliably spawn within an area. Once we have that, I can always build in new functionality to cover the other if necessar...

Re: My single problem with BTW.
What I find interesting is, how much all this reminds me of Skyrim's soul gems and enchanting. What you can do there is enchant your weapon of choice and go slay whatever you find, be it people or animals. The people of Skyrim also feel much more human (have more character) then the silent blocky sh...

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
Is it wrong that I've NEVER heard of Blast Mining before? What the hell is it? Explosions trigger whenever you mine a block? It's part of the mcmmo plug-in, specifically the mining skill. You activate it by lighting (right-click) TNT with flint&steel. Here's the wiki entry on it. From what I un...

Re: Welcome to Edolas (Server information)
When you get back from your vacation, could you disable blast mining again Facefoiled?
It no longer triggers with every right click but does so if you're sneaking. Since that skill is utterly useless (it reduces blast range even with 1000+ mining skill) I'd rather see it go again.
