Re: The Survival Games

Dammit I missed it again! And this time I actually could have been there, but thanks to my laziness... Gah. I'll make a point of being in on the next one, whenever that is.

Re: automated tree harvester

Welcome, man! Now all we need is to get Jedi over here and we have pretty much the whole BTW community on the forum. Also, about your wiring, everything seems right, except for the fact that you should be using saws to cut the tree and the BD to pick them up.
Edit: ninjas. They're everywhere.

Re: The hand crank appreciation thread

Also, while the hand crank cannot power gearboxes or axles, it has the smallest footprint of any mechanical power device, being 1/25 the size of the next smallest mechanical power source, the watermill. Another amazing thing about the hand crank is that the dying screams of wolves are proven to be 1...

Re: Curse Premium

What the hell? I've seen ads on MCF before, but I always figured it was something you payed for to get beta access for some games, the right of having a pretty blue name, etc. Why you have it without paying... Let me go try and sign up for it, see how it goes. Edit: Just tried it, and apparantly, it...

Re: Morvelaira's MC News Compilation

Interesting is this: @Dinnerbone If you have water AND lava in it might not suck it back up btw. I just made obsidian. =P So, Dispensers can pick up Water/Lava if there are buckets in, or can they just spit it out? Or will the Dispenser become a Block Dispenser? I hope Notch runs into jebs office a...

Fuck me. This is just utterly terrible. Alright, FC, would you seriously, not even joking, consider never updating BTW to 1.3? This is... D: I used to love you, Mojang, but some things are unforgivable. Like making Minecraft suck.

I'm doing a blue circle, so no one claim it while my crappy image-editing skills warm up. Whipping up something right now, broken image inside blue circle= all kinds of meta.

Re: Morvelaira's MC News Compilation

I get the feeling it's going to be some OP shit like invincibility. That or flight and invincibility. Remember when we had hope for Minecraft and Jeb while we waited for 1.2? I feel like this is going to be worse than wolves actually, if this gets added in its current form I get the feeling that a m...

Also, because you won't have Forge installed, you can't get the spinning mobs inside spawners that NEI adds, but other than that, it has its full functionality. Just install as usual (CodeChickenCore in the jar, NEI in the jar) and you're good to go.

Okay, cool. Just associating an anus with any sort of FC's design philosophy seems a tad bit... Strange. Unless of course it is a wolf anus that is producing yummy shit for you to use :)

What I do is I build an XP grinder and then use NEI's enchanting function to give myself the enchants I'm after and sacrifice 1/2 the amount of materials it took to build the tool, rounded up. Minecraft has changed the way I've played games too. There are carry-overs from gameplay (a fair number of times I've caught myself crouching behind a wall during a game of Battlefield to make my name invisible) but also the freedom of the game has changed me too. Using the Skyrim example, I got int...

One thing that struck me odd during the livestream (and DW's videos, but he didn't record a whole lot while Eloraam was online) was the amount of little emoticons and smileys she used. Re: Thaumcraft 2: Tier 3 enchanter...

I've been playing some Thaumcraft with Equivalent Exchange and MystCraft on a survival island. I don't have any animals, so I'm going to have to travel with MystCraft to find a "chicken dimension" (if one exists) to transmute chickens into other animals. I noticed that researching Obsidia...
