Hmmmz, looks like gold nuggets will be easier to obtain ;)
I wonder what you'd have to feed to make them produce it though.

If corn was included, you could make the lucky charms cereal, that might work.

Mind == Blown.
Meh.

I'd rather have a new block system which would allow for variations. So that you could have coal in dirt, coal in grass, gold in gravel.... Increasing the limit will only serve to have it filled up faster.

Re: New Minecraft world format

Yeah, I hope all of the forge hooks ('cept the coverplates bloat(seriously though, she should make RP base a base class mod, would be better for everyone)) make it into vanila. I'd probably do a victory dance or something. (You see, I had my eye on a couple of forge mods for quite some time...) As f...

Re: Industrial Craft?

I tried IC^2 once, and it was fun while it lasted. It feels unbalanced and rushed though. BTW is a much more polished endeavor in comparison. Back when I was playing it and forge was at it's high, I was hoping BTW, RP and IC^2 would integrate into one supermod. With nice polished features (for examp...

I don't know whether the Indie Fund takes any donations, but if I had money I wanted to give to charity I'd dump it there.

Re: quick question Tile Entities

@Poppy Its the sounds of the chickens. Your computer cant handle all the sounds being played at the same time; try muting the volume in game options. Oh! I'll try that once I get home. Upgradin the lvgl might help as well with sound-related problems, I've heard. So I'll try that first. I just didn'...

Re: quick question Tile Entities

I've got an older pc as well, but surprisingly my auto hemp fiber farm isn't the laggiest, even though it's got the most tile entities by far. My chicken coop's the laggiest - for obvious reasons. Holds at least 50 of those little monsters + a plenty of young ones. But I'm not really ready to give i...

This is great news. I'm really looking forward to experimenting with it in a auto pottery design - amongst other things. Will be fun. Thanks FC! Re: Eureka!

Obsidian and bedrock can't be pushed, yet aren't tile entities.

Yet, that guess sounds valid.

EDIT: except for that "supposed to be mechanical" part

Re: Texture Pack Query

Don't get your hopes up, I'm really struggle to convey what the blocks are with such a low resolution. I mentioned it in the OP and still haven't found a solution. If I were to release it it would only be the terrain since that's the only thing that the original pack supports. supports right now . ...

Re: quick question Tile Entities

I used signs to trick mobs in my mob trap one time and the lag was horrible but there were like 200 signs so. I just wasnt sure how much lag a small amount could create(say..30 signs) Weeeell, it's different for every pc. Also BTW adds vine traps to lure mobs into a pit, no tile entities needed. Yo...

Alot and yes.

Try replacing a chunk with furnaces to get the idea.

I think they're great though. After all, who's going to fill up a whole chunk with a single tile entity?

Re: Eureka!

Maybe the new feature is a block which must be pushed by a piston. It would explain why it didn't make sense to make it a tile-entity. Now that sounds fun and useful; I always loved working with pistons. I'm sure there's more things such a block could do, but I'm imagining redstone->mechanical. Cou...

If you wanted to narrow it so that the buttons were next to eachother, the you could stagger the modules, but that would make it excessively long. Stagger the modules? But yeah, I'd love if the modules could be next to each other. Things like this make me cringe for RedPower or at least colorful re...

Button switchboard

I was skimming the forums for a nice auto-pottery design and came across the one designed by Chachew. Inspired, I set out to create my own (although similar) setup and I started with the switchboard (for selecting the pottery type). That was the very first thing I wanted to change from the original ...

snip: Thank you all for the responses. It makes a lot more sense now, especially the RedPower part. I'd love to see it as part of the modding API This woul...
