Re: Anyone played Cobalt yet?
To be honest, I'm with the minority who doesn't want Mojang to focus even remotely on something Minecrafty. I don't love a developer because they make a certain type of game, I love a developer because they make good games. I could care less about build environments in games, really. I got tired of ...

Re: Diamond mining in 1.0
For fuck's sake... so you're telling me that I do have to deal with that damned darkness if I want more than just a handful of diamonds?
Bah. Fuck off, Minecraft. That just kills my recent buzz for mining.
Oh well. Gotta get my fix somehow.

Re: How fast is your internet?
See, the funny thing is, I run fiber cables too. But I'm not getting anything near 50 Mb/s.
I don't do networking, though, so this is all bananas and pears to me.

Re: How fast is your internet?
Oh, SpeedTest.net, you liar.
I just checked, and it's telling me I only pull 1MB/s when I most definitely know I do not. I do enough downloading to know what my cap speed is, silly internet.
Also, yes. I am very offended by your lack of sharing awesome-tier internet, Europe.

Hmm. It's running fine without BTW, yes?
Then I'd suggest a redownload. Sounds like something might have been corrupted. Not sure what would cause this actual issue, though. Baffles me.

Re: Pressed for time
I mean, if you're really getting straight A's, then your folks must be doing something right by giving you the environment you need to excell. You'd be surprised, my dear. In my opinion, from seeing how school is taught in a dozen schools, grades are a horrid way of gauging mentality. For example, ...

Re: Your First Computers
The first home computer was the ol' Windows 95. I'll never forget the Gateway box it came in. xD
But before that, I was using some of the way-early Apple computers in school. Don't ask what kind they were, I just know there wasn't a GUI. And I'm fine with that.

Re: Switching music settings crash game
Not too sure as to what would be causing the problem, but I'd suggest changing the audio settings in your options.txt (unless you're saying that's causing the black screen, in which case I think you should just clear out your .minecraft and reinstall).

Re: Assistance with Secret Project (Modders needed!)
Finally reporting back (only took a day and a half), but now it seems to be doing well enough. No conflicts, and I also realized that load order wouldn't really matter if I loaded all the mods into one single zip. So I now have my own personal compilation (that will not be released to the public, of...

Re: Funny coincidence i've noticed a bit lately...
I pay for 25/25, but I usually get around 20Mb/s, so I can't complain. That's still about 7 and a half gigs an hour.

Re: Assistance with Secret Project (Modders needed!)
However, I've tried installing using the logical process (APIs and GUIs first, then content mods), but I'm still getting a crash when I open the menu in Creative. So, I'm trying to see if anybody can help me pin down a specific order in which these mods need to be installed. Umm...If you're using F...

Mostly, because whenever anyone mentions the gimp suit, I imagine the GIMP mascot wearing assless chaps. And that isn't a paintbrush in his mouth. Thanks, Bino. Now I have to get ri...

Re: Assistance with Secret Project (Modders needed!)
The only potential problems I see is Scottools + Forge, but theres a patch floating somewhere for that; Block ID usage, due to Nethercraft + othermods; But otherwise it *should* be fine. Well, as of present, I'm still a bit iffy of using EE (and, as such, using Forge) because the precedent of it's ...

Further proof that there is some fanaticism surrounding the gimp suits and harness.

I'm extremely lazy, so instead of getting actual screenshots, I just uploaded my new skins to the Skindex. :P

Gah! Here in the UK, thanks to the health and safety nazi's, all shops have to tear up their cardboard boxes before binning them! Last time I moved, I was relying on that - I just don't understand who could hurt themself on a cardboard box, and if they can, do they deserve to be a part of the human...
