Anyone tried Zomboid on a Mac? I'd love to know if it would run respectably on my MBP.

Re: The things you remember
Today is the third anniversary of my father's death. I've been struggling with remembering all day. I'm going to post the blog entry I wrote as I sat in my office the day I learned of his death. Today I Wore Tartan Today I wore tartan in honour of my father who departed this life somewhere near 4:00...

kregoth, I'm glad you survived the accident and that your mom survived almost losing you. I can't echo enough the sentiment that says "make what you can of the time you have."

Re: Show us your builds!
How many gears do you need? I just ran into a situation where I mocked up how many gearboxes I need and it was 20 just to get the project started! Most gears I've ever needed at one time I'm guessing I'll end up doubling that 20. I'm certainly grateful that there is no loss of power over distance w...

As BTW is the only reason I play Minecraft anymore, I find the above to be quite funny.FlowerChild wrote: "Nobody plays BTW anymore" is a favorite line of these clowns.

Re: Need new games :D
I disagree strongly with that statement. Without installing a graphic pack and Dwarf Therapist, I didn't last more than a few hours with the game due to the horrible interface, and I know that's the same thing many people run into. Playing totally vanilla is a great way to turn people totally off t...

Re: The things you remember
Laira, I wish you the best as you deal with those memories. The anniversary of my father's death is Sunday. I approach it with mixed emotions as I had a tortured relationship with my father. It sounds like you had a good relationship which makes the loss more painful. Best of memories to you as you ...

Oh, I thought it a very cool idea too, hence my participation. I guess I was just lamenting that none of these threads never really evolves into anything more :) I guess an internet forum is just too anonymous to really dig into things like this. We need to all go to a bar and get drunk together fo...

Darn looks like I missed all the fun. If people are going to troll, they need to learn how to do it politely so it doesn't all get deleted so I can read and laugh later on!

Re: The weirdest glitch I've seen in Minecraft so far
Interesting. I will lay it at the feet of fire then. I find it surprising given I have never seen anything like it in my years of playing MC but it does at least make some sense.

Re: The weirdest glitch I've seen in Minecraft so far
You sure it wasnt just a freak fire related incident? I didn't think about that and I suppose that it is somewhat possible that the first disappearance could be laid to rest by that, though the three blocks that ended up missing were not really adjacent. However, the second disappearance when I pla...

The weirdest glitch I've seen in Minecraft so far
I was just adding some items to render into glue in my stoked stewing pot and things didn't happen. I looked at the flame level and realized it was only one high so I ran down to the engineering level and started looking around. A gearbox was missing, the wooden block it sat on was missing. I looked...

On the sunject of Mr. Bellows sheep, I can never leave well enough alone. I built one to test it (incidentally, sitting dogs do NOT work), and thought, he looks sad. He needs a friend. Actually, I just hate an underutilized resource and realized that I was halfway to a sheep breeder already. So now...
