I had forgotten the furnace. It is now compliant with the new Grid2 template and should use the ; & , notation for numbers and slides.

Well it's done something wrong in that all recipes with numbers in them need to be updated. Basically, the game only tries to spawn monsters in the bottom 128 layers of the map unless additional constructs (anything but air) is above that level. If a single block exists at level 256 in each chunk for example, it should halve spawn rates. Am I misinterpreting this change FC talked about a ...

That happened to me yesterday, hopefully I died in the nether so I didn't lose any stuff, but it took me a good 30 minutes to find what I needed to make a compass and head back to my base. I was even tempted to start a new one on the spot ^^
