I believe it's an easter egg in reference to For balance reasons I can't really see too much else popping up really.

It may be he just wants incentive to produce the stone halfslab covered landscape utopia we all wish for, with our cows in iron bar cages and the only surviving greenery produced through superior human engineering.

Re: First Iron Tool: Pick or Hoe?

I went with a hoe initially, if only to prevent the worst nightmare of every player from ever taking place. Getting the hoe first for me is always a must, that way I can always have one bastion in the world were I can count on food existing somewhere as a farm. After the first base though I think it...

This may be a little out of date, but do you think this might qualify as a part of the genre?
I have some fond memories of having tried it once at a friend's place.

Disable Left-Click Activate on Hand Crank.

Considering the upcoming changes to doors, trapdoors, levers, and buttons in version 1.4 that make them no longer trigger when left clicked could you apply the same change to the hand crank from BTW? This way removing and replacing the crank for better positioning won't waste your hunger bar or prov...

After reading everything in here, it may be worth activating this on my current world that I've been working on. Don't even have my windmill yet since I've been busy lately, so this could fit in without any major alterations destroying my world.

I expect we won't be seeing much of you around here for a while Mr_Hosed, the sheer rarity is what makes actually finding a mushroom biome such an accomplishment. What's the thrill of discovery in tossing a few dozen "Shroom-eyes" around until you get there? It's like having a compass that...

I've never bothered searching for slime chunks, preferring to save waterwheels till later when I have glue. You already need a small cow farm to reach saws anyway.

the main problem with any sort of border is that it could be bypassed through the use of the Nether Portal Network. Hop in, run to the nether, go a few hundred paces out, and poof.

Re: FlowerChild's Dev Diary (week of September 24th)

Well, if speculation from the Canvas thread a while back is still relevant... If the red lines between the Nether and Overworld/End represent the travel of souls, redstone is infused with the souls of the nether, and souls are being drawn to The End by the Enderdragon, then clearly a similar force o...

Well, a fatty diet causes floating in reality, but I very much doubt FC would waste his time making different Dung for each food source given to wolves just to changes their buoyancy.
