Re: [Spoilers] Soulforged steel discoveries

Hum... I've never used it. How well does it protect you? Not certain how it's now but before the changes to map height Feather Fall IV would let you survive falling from the highest point down to bedrock I think. I think it does have some bit of randomness attached to it; I remember testing it befo...

Re: Morvelaira's MC News Compilation

Experience level progression is now linear Well hot damn, that ruins a lot more than the other experience changes. So not only do you need 20 less levels (which required higher and higher amounts of experience) but now the 30 levels you do need are much easier to gain in the first place. Unless my ...

Wow, I'm pretty interested. Granted, my shitty rig won't be able to play any games made with the engine, but hey, looks great regardless.

Obviously steve is a deep one. He has to take off his armor in the teaser to prevent his newfound tentacles from getting crushed against his body. If this update really has anything to do with Lovecraftian... things... I'll probably have to cycle through pants while playing minecraft, from the shee...

Re: What kind of music do YOU like?

I like to think I have a really broad range of music. My range goes from Extreme Metal genres to some Pop songs, to Jazz, etc... It's mostly due to the fact that I'm putting effort into being a musician myself, applying for Berklee College after two years community college. I've been on concert perc...

Re: An Important Announcement

So I've been with the BTW mod since (pretty much) its inception, what with the first topic, second, then mod topic itself, and let me say this; while I'm definitely not a vocal part of the community, it's been one hell of a ride. Absolutely love watching the community interact, that is, when I'm not...

Re: What do you do on your Free time?

Eh, I honestly don't have enough time in a day to do much of anything. While I'm actually out of the hospital (which used to be a rare occurance) I try to pack in as much crap to my day as possible. I enjoy: Playing Piano or Drums, depending on if I need to practice for my Jazz Ensemble (Piano) or j...

Re: Pepsi vs Coke

I guess I was raised to drink soda out of cans, since it's much easier to find, but good lord... Drinking a cold coke out of a glass bottle is one of the best tastes I've ever had. Definitely Coke as my choice for most days, but occasionally I like Pepsi too.

Supposedly Uwe Boll tried to ask Blizzard to head the Warcraft movie. They laughed as they showed him the door. Granted, their lore isn't very... Original... But at least it isn't going to be a 100% chance to fail without him.

McDonalds would have to be my choice, and for only one good reason. The McDicken (Also known as the McGangbang). It's a finely crafted bastard child of two dollar menu items, so it's a cheap item. What you do, is take a McDouble and split it between the patties, then put a McChicken (bottom bun is o...

I like it, I've always preferred living Dwarf-style with my worlds, and this would help. I can't help but think that the underground might be a tad bit boring though, if it's just the world as it is now, but spread out. Of course, the caves would still be the sprawling veins of the world like they a...

This literally just made my somewhat terrible day into a good one. I've been waiting for the chance to sign up for quite some time, and this game looks like it'll pull me back into MMOs. I'm more excited for this game than I've been for almost any other... And I hope it doesn't fail me. And I also h...

Hehe...well, I'm just keeping it in mind for a potential feature for BTW down the road. Vanilla Block Transmutation?

I was roaming around on the MC Forums, looking for inspiration, when I came across this thread. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/927912-block-transmuter/ Basically, through redstone, water, and pistons, you can alter the meta-data of any block in Minecraft. Re: SnapShot 12w04a

Correct me if i'm wrong, but creative mode items still work in survival mode, they just aren't available to be found or crafted, yes? Which means that XP potions and mob eggs are good for adventure maps. I hope Vechs abuses the hell out of Mob Eggs and rewards us occasionally with XP Potions. Love ...
