So as long you are not far enought for them to de-spawn they will continue to wander.

I had something similar near my base, not in the spawn. But instead of diamonds there was a stronghold. I found it before finding diamonds, but it saved me a few ender eyes once i reached that point.

I think is mostly people that after playing New Vegas expected the game to follow a different path.

As a game it's quite nice. As a fallout game, it doesn't really follow the fallout, or even the bethesda game studios, formula.

My auto pottery works without End tech. but for the auto-kiln i had to use a block dispenser.

For the auto-pottery my advice is a regular dispenser and hardcore packing.

Not sure if it applies in this case. But various features of the mod are disabled in creative to force the players to figure it out in survival mode.

On the villages troubles. My advice is that you use the nether as a mean to travel faster. you'll reach the villages easier.

Mobs can spawn on pressure plates and netherrack and netherbrick have the same spawn properties. Are you far enought from the farm for mobs to be able to spawn in it?

That is correct as far as i know. Its better to use groth for exteriors.

Another thing about nether spawns. Ghasts can spawn in any full block, not only netherrack and nether brick. So aboid using cement to terraform exteriors.

In the topic of making the nether fortress safe. What I usually do is change the floor in the parts i'm going to transit with stone bricks. This gives me the materials to start building the trap.

The rest of it, I change some of the nether bricks with netherrack and let the groth take over it.

To get them you have to level up your priest villager to unlock a trade that changes an enderpearl and some emeralds for an eye of ender. So it's time to village hunting.
