Re: Buildcraft wrench in BTW
Wouldn't a separate item make it easier to rotate items with a GUI that opens on right click (or any other thing that happens then)? Yes it woul require an item but it could be seen as a trade off since you can place items the correct way to start with so the item would be an added benefit and the i...

Aah, the joys of building a computer from the scratch. The sweet sound of the hum when it boots up for the first time. OR Gaaah, the bloody thing won't start! Now what cable is actually a tentacle hellspawn in disguise that's eating my power?! -Select which one is appropriate :) Also, congrats dear!

Re: The block dispenser filler uses?
Ok... I think I don't quite understand how it works but it gave me an idea for a mossy cobble farm that uses a BD filled with 16 stacks of 1 mossy cobble which should mean it can only suck in mossy cobble and ignore regular cobble stone. Would that be a similar kind of exploit? Or does that not eve...

Re: The block dispenser filler uses?
A really easy one: make it so you only need 64 seed to fill up a BD handling re-planting wheat. This means that if you have an automated system to refill the DB then it will work much faster

If there will indeed be some kind of plant with stages where only a stage somewhere before the end will be useful, please make it so that bobemeal can be used on it! Something with poisonous gasses could be one idea. Perhaps Respiration enchants would lessen the damage, giving people more incentive to get it. Or hallucinations, make steve see creepers everywhere (and sometime they might even be there).

You don't have those in stores? You can usually find at lest 4 different types of them in even corner shops here. Loved them when I was a kid but these days I find them too sweet.

Re: Proposed Change Discussion: Removing Zombie Iron drops
Hmmm...you make an interesting point. Perhaps given the focus on mob farms it may be time for me to consider another core change to vanilla behavior: disable living entity stacking. That one though I don't think would be a good idea. There are just too many situations where it can occur (naturally ...

Re: I'm not sure how to build an effective mob trap. :(
If you place the saws vertically (like a wall) and have a water flow underneath them as well as water running into them, the drops will fall down the gap that is there due to saws not being a full block.

Re: Mob traps: This has been rewarding
Building an old school mob farm was one of the most fun and nostalgic things I've done in Minecraft in quite some time. I'm not even done with the sorting system yet, I can separate them roughly so far but I only have chests to store them in. Next step is to set up minecart chests :)

Re: Proposed Change Discussion: Removing Zombie Iron drops
Hmm, I hadn't really thought about it before and there are good arguments for both changing and keeping it as it is. I agree that you can get a lot of iron from mob farms but on the other hand it introduces a further step to setting up sorting. Iron isn't exactly rare to begin with and since we can ...
