That's a service provided by the host, "Fragnet.net"
They give you access to something called "McMyAdmin", in which you can select many options and other nifty sthuff to help you run the server :)

I just realized that, once you've crafted a compass, in the Statistic page the icon for the compass is actually the real compass image, including the arrow pointing to spawn. Which means that a simple look on the stats page allows you to know where you are, without having to actually have a compass....

Ever since I started BTW, I wondered why there was no equivalent to the Hopper and the Block Dispenser in vanilla.
Their version clearly lack of the FC touch, but it's a step in the *good* (for me) direction for Minecraft.
