In finally finished my base entrance !

Basic design of the door is inspired by etho's, with added soulforged steel pressure plates to prevent monsters from accessing the base.

They do. You may also note that shafts (dropped from witches) and bones have the same problem, and contrary to the flesh & bottles you can't even separate them by transforming one or the other since the shafts will block the millstone.

Do glass bottles get melted down in the crucible? If not I was thinking you could have them both go into a crucible, burn away the flesh, and dump the bottles out. Crucibles don't touch the bottles, and as I said i'd prefer to keep the flesh (that will be my solution if it's not possible of course)...

Is there a way to separate glass bottles from rotten flesh ? They stack in the same chest in my mob trap and I can't find any way to separate those. I tried the bellows, buoyancy, & hopper filters but nothing works. Only thing I found is rotten flesh is destroyed by a crucible so I can filter it...

I recon I should have posted to tech support since this is not happening for everybody, my bad on that part.

Particles are not set to minimal and the rain sound does come back when i set the details to fancy so I can accept that something is wrong on my part but i can totally reproduce what was explained in the bug that FC closed, thus why I made this post.

I'm personnally forcing myself not to update those topics on the wiki to avoid people spoiling the fun for themselves. This is a topic which you can easily experiment with so why not try and see what happens ? There's nothing to worry about after all :)

I actually never have seen the usefulness of cobblegen since I accumulate so much by just mining / strip mining / clearing space for my builds. As FC said, it wouldn't be as satisfying to build if i knew i hadn't invested time in acquiring those resources. And at the same time I was doing something ...

I have a 2 year old computer with a pretty shitty integrated video card (running minecraft on short all the time for instance), and this runs great. So i'd say you don't really need a huge computer for this.

I ran mine only following the instructions from the readme so ... what's not working ? what did you do ? what's your system ?

Redesigned my windmill building after getting to the anvil stage, only aesthetic but it needed its place in my base !
