For a slime only farm you'll nedd an underground farm on slime chunks. The swamp slimes spawn wih the rest of mobs.

I remember playing that one back in 2007. It was great. One of the creators released recently-ish Night in the woods. A narrative focused game, almost a walking simulator in 2D. But still intereting if you like that kind pf thing.

Didn't now the other one was the maker of Spelunky.

You can add a skylight to the furnace room so it's safe during the day even if you are not there and not stray to far during the night. If you don't think you'll be able to reach it before night time, seal it with some dirt.

That channel is great, if you follow the entire anime review series, it turns into the story of a depressed young man that was abused by his uncle, and how this affected his life.

Once you can turn bows into string, is that really to much of a problem? You'll already will have plenty of hemp fibers for that.

They are, but you need a crafting table. The recipe also includes a piece of string.

If I understood this correctly, try putting the hoppers under the saw. That gap is suposed to be there to let the items go throgh.

I just made a quick test with MC Patcher 5.0.3 with some campfires on a stone floor and had no problem with any of my texture packs.

If you plan to make any significant steel production, an auto-kiln is a necessity. A lot of soul urns for a complete steel beacon.

To be fair once, you get a mob farm and a crucible, you don't really need to smelt iron. I still smelted it just to see my auto-kiln working.

Anything that spawns in the nether and goes through the portal will be in the overworld witing for you when you come back. Is you portal accesible from any netherrack floor?

Other than building a tunnel under the jungle to bring the animals, the only thing I can think of is relocating to the mainland.

On the iron sword topic, I usually don't have any problems finding an iron sword carrying zombie before getting the iron for the first tool, so I don't usually craft them myself.

I love the recent changes to the grates, I remeved the ones in my skylights and built dirt towers arround them to avoid monsters getting inside.
