Just to reply to the post i started during 1.8, now that BTW 1.0 is out all my hard work has payed off. I hope anyone else who was preparing for 1.0 is as happy as i am with the wait.

Hmm my main reason for doing this is if i go 1.8-1.0 when i switch to 1.0 there will be no nether ruins aka no potion brewing or netherbrick, which i think aesthetically is some fancy shizzle =]

I find that the potion brewing system is really good for only 2 types of potions. Speed and Strength (mainly for End boss fight).

I know we are not on the 1.0 version yet but i just wanted to throw this out, snow golems do no damage and only get themselves killed and waist materials to make them. Make snowballs do Damage. Not a major overhaul but a smart one. It would make them worth creating. =] They would actually defend an...

how about it makes all redstone objects react on the same plane its placed on within a 9x9 area of it instead of a 360 radius? itll make it more controlable and efficient?

Mhh... i still feel this mod is TOO reliant on wolves even though its "better than wolves" i thought baiting wolves to find them sounded reasonable. aside from the coding aspect i wanted to throw out an alternative, cause it seems like finding wolves is either hit or miss, black or white, ...

My idea isn't a new block or a dramatically innovative idea, but a simple one. For some players I've found that some people search endlessly and find no wolves. My idea is as follows: go into a forest biome and throw pork or steak on the ground, this has a random chance (1 out of 10 maybe?) to spawn...
