Re: Hardcore torches mode
actually one of the most likely least used recipes in BTW, for me anyways is nethercoal. Sense getting netherrack is extremely easy, it would be a great upgrade for torches. So Why not have standard torches slowly loose light 1 light range per day until it only lights a few blocks around it or goes ...

haha FC what you should do instead, not sure if it is easier but instead of actually enchanting the harness you could change the breeding particle effect to the enchantment aura when they are fed wheat with a harness on :)

Re: New Release! (BTW V3.30)
Holy baby harnesses FC, 3 updates already in such a short amount of time I only just made my first set of soulsteal lol. You are the main reason why I started playing minecraft again, and I been playing sense invdev I stopped playing after 1.6 partially because I was not liking the path the game was...

Re: Thatch
Any chance you could add triangular blocks for aesthetic use only, it could be treated like a ramp. Only mentioning in here because it would make sense that a saw could cut wood that way lol. Also on the wicker blocks, you think it would be possible to allow them to be placed horizontally as well as...

Right clicking doesn't throw dynamite
Just tested this out on fresh BTW only install after discovering it. The wiki says right clicking should throw dynamite.. but this doesn't seem to work anymore, my guess it was missed when moving from the forge, unless this was changed my guess is this is a bug

Also need one where you have to alternate the amount of water nearby, sense water drips through a single block that could be used as a new way to provide water to the soil for the plants.. increased efficiency perhaps by having more control of proper lighting and watering?

Re: Expensive repairing method that retains enchantments
Sounds way over-powered, IMO Yeah, same here. There's no difference between that and allowing the player to fully customize enchantments other than the number of clicks involved. Ya your right it is over-powered now that I think about it. What about the soul urn storing the enchantment? So instead ...

Re: Expensive repairing method that retains enchantments
I actually think what the enchanting system is more in need of is a way to remove enchantments without repairing tools. Hellfire Dust + Soap: scours off even the most baked-on enchantments without leaving residue or streaks! Soul Soap sounds better :P removes the enchantments and refunds the XP? he...

Re: Redstone and Glue
Not to mention it has been suggested and rejected on numerous occasions. Really? I've never noticed. Other than the fact that FC doesn't want to simplify the redstone (which I can understand), this really isn't a bad idea. Well the idea of, "I want to put redstone on walls/ceiling/go father/wh...

Re: Water Floom/Trough/Duct
Perhaps a false water entity that has water as its input and output? But then objects that interact with water, items, wheels and Hoppers would have to be modified to work with it. ***EDIT*** Which is what kregoth was saying now that i reread it ***EDIT*** Might be covered in Flowerchild nether wor...

Re: Expensive repairing method that retains enchantments
I actually think what the enchanting system is more in need of is a way to remove enchantments without repairing tools. O.o Maybe have it so soul urns can store enchantment's? It removes it from the current item and places it in the urn then you could re-apply it to a new item that's the same, Make...

Re: Water Floom/Trough/Duct
Hmm I would like to see this, but I think FC would have to create a whole new water entity for this to work as it changes it behavior completely just for Floom/Trough/Duct.

Redstone and Glue
I am not sure if this is possible, how about making it so that if you stick redstone in with glue inside a cauldron you could create sticky redstone for the sole purpose of having it be able to stick to surfaces other then the floor/ground. I figured if it was done this way it may not need evasive c...

Re: Better Than Release?
So I started to think of how the player could gain experience outside of combat, besides achievements. sense Exp seems to be tied to Living things, my idea is have much smaller amount of XP orbs fall from tress, and plants when chopped/harvested. It would be a lot smaller amount of orbs then monster...

Forum Spoilers shouldn't load content
I wanted to put this info in here for those who may not know, but topics start to load all content even those hidden in spoilers which really slows down my ability to see the topic, specially battosay's video topic. to view that topic it take around 5 minutes for all the stuff to load, my suggestion...

Re: A way to transport more items
I was thinking about this and a backpack would make sense but it does need a downside like slower movement and faster hunger depletion or something. but then I started think of what other form of transportation could be made that's works with the current tiers of the ages. How about a hot air balloo...

Re: A Reason to grow more crops
mode. Rice and cranberries need a flooded field to be harvested. That could be neat. Lots of crops involve harvesting the frruit without damaging the plant. Orchards for example. That has possibilities. Some crops spread agressively, and can be a pain to grow, like pumpkins and raspberries. Some pla...

Been lurking the forums for a few days and was looking through the suggestions here and this one caught my interest, I just installed BTW and so far haven't gotten very far (troubles with optifine) but love the direction this mod is taking, it's far better then most mods out there. My idea is instea...
