Yes yes, the hype is real :)

First movie playing right now is Call of Cthulhu (2005), to warm up, then we go onto the bread and butter :)

We'll be there for like 12 hours, so come say hello :)

He's still on 4.AAAAAAAAAAHHHH (doesn't know which patch) apparently. (last time I report bugs for someone else, there's always a catch, I'm starting to get why registration is closed).

Cooking food rendering incorrectly on fast graphics

Reported by Dean McCoppin on Discord On fast graphics, the food that's cooking on the campfire will "billboard" (stay the same angle when you walk around it), but the billboard angle is incorrect and only shows a sliver of the food being cooked. On fancy it looks correct. Could use some co...

Re: New world: worth it?

I think there's value to starting over if you have a world like that, but it's not a major loss. Also, if you don't play a lot, there's a good chance it'll be hard for you guys to reach the nether again, seeing how the new mechanics are quite a bit harder than before.

Re: (Potential Spoilers?) - Opinions On First Iron Tool

I mostly use it against skeletons and creepers. For if you want to approach skeletons, of you get the timing right you can block every shot and take half damage before you get into melee. Creepers I mostly use it if surprised and I don't have the time to shear them. It's saved my life on several oc...

You block guys are so weird, I can't even remember the last time I tried blocking with a sword. I wonder if I'm the only one that doesn't block. Is there two kinds of people or am I just weird and/or bad at games?

Re: (Potential Spoilers?) - Opinions On First Iron Tool

Personal opinion, I'm thinking iron pick only when I really have to. I might even skip it entirely if I luck out on diamonds. So I'd say it depends, but there seem to be two viable options for me: Hoe first: First get a hoe, save up for an axe while the hemp grows, so you unlock hemp and wood at the...

Re: Legacy Skin Support mod - Fix your skins with a simple m

while I wanted to thank you for making this, I did find an interesting bug/glitch. If I die with the inventory menu up after Steve revert to the texture pack skin after he falls over. I'm not touching any code that could cause that, so that's very odd. I'll look into it and I'd appreciate it a lot ...

Inb4 Gil tries to tell you how easy it is after he watched 20 hours of lets play streams before trying it :) Haha, harsh. I didn't just watch 20 hours of LP actually, I also spent 10 hours testing things in test worlds, trying recipes in established worlds, trying out run after run to figure out so...

Re: Creepers doing no damage underground in dirt corridors?

I figured out the "bug"! Basically, when you stand inside a campfire (or maybe when the creeper is inside it), it does almost no damage, meaning if a creeper walks into your hole, you can just quickly hop onto your campfire to negate damage mostly.

I've tried reproducing it using spawned in creepers, can't get it to work. They kill me in 1 hit. Really strange.

Except that bug report is completely different from what I reported. There were no slabs and the creepers did 0 hearts, not 0.5.

Re: Creepers doing no damage underground in dirt corridors?

may be related with creepers on a snow layer doing reduced damage? Yeah, the fact that it happens in small corridors makes me think it might be related to the new gravity dirt, but it might be an old thing from vanilla that I didn't notice before, because in the past, I would always have a weapon o...

Creepers doing no damage underground in dirt corridors?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's even new, but every time a creeper wanders into my dirt corridor bases and blows up like right in my face, I get no damage, but am standing in the middle of a crater afterwards. Has anyone noticed reduced damage from creepers? I'm wondering if the new dirt me...

I've been trying a few things to fix this campfire issue. I've also pmed the author of mcpatcher on mcforums, but i'm not confident at all that i'll get a reply, as i've been told that mcpatcher is no longer being updated... Would this issue be adequate cause for a new thread? Maybe instead of aski...

Flames broken in new block (mild spoilers for early game)

Okay, so there's a bug where if you use a texture pack, the flames for the campfire will be showing the wrong texture. We assumed it was an MCPatcher bug, but it's not. I think it's a plain old bug, but I'm not sure. Here's what we know: - When using certain texture packs, the flame will show the in...

Re: Legacy Skin Support mod - Fix your skins with a simple m

Just as friendly advice, I'd really recommend mentioning that explicitly in the OP to cut down on your tech support. I suspect the majority of issues reported by people will boil down to this. Yup, I didn't realize this could be an issue until someone mentioned it on Discord, I'm already repacking ...

Maybe you changed the BTWConfig? It does expect you not to change the default values for the skin stuff.
