Re: Clay recycling urn spinner?
Replace the glass blocks with solid blocks and it should work. Thank you! Fixed. What is it about glass that makes Screws not work, anyway? Non-opaque blocks don't displace items when you place them. Stairs, half-slabs, glass blocks, etc - none of them push things out. You can't suffocate in them e...

Re: Confuzzled about Tile Entities
Inventory.
Mostly.
Esentially it boils down to "Can I put all the extra data I need the block to store into 8 bits of metadata?". If yes, then it doesn't need an entity, if no, then using one might be the only way to do it.

Re: Sharing useful builds that get the job done
I knew there was a very good reason why I suggested for db's to behave more like regular blocks when it came to receiving redstone power. Good show man. On a side note, I think I should repost my dung farm here as well, it's in the show us your builds thread, but I think this place better suited for...

Re: Question...
Well, the short answer to that would be "No". The long one is "Noooooooo". In essence, it all boils down to: "Nothing is ever really automagic". The difference between faux SP code and real MP code is huge and requires a lot of work. EDIT: Quoting the ninja above me for...

Re: Clay recycling urn spinner?
And therein lies the problem. I used to just have a backwards water slide with pistons to lift them one block at a time, but stuff always gets stuck. I dunno, sound more like a reading comprehension problem :P. I've said clay blocks . You can piston those up preeeeetty easily :). Without using mess...

Re: Clay recycling urn spinner?
I can't seem to get an archimides screw to work right. You could always piston the clay blocks up instead. That's how my system works. It's got 8 tables and only one block dispenser. which is positioned UNDER them. That's where both the clay recycles and where I fill it in. From there it gets pisto...

Re: Nether chicken dissatisfaction...
I agree with the unichickens.. The hard-boiled eggs would remove the need to cook them in a stewing pot cauldron therefore remove the need for a feature :( This is assuming they would instantly become boiled. Yeah, because going to the nether to toss your eggs around is so much easier than building...

Heck, I still think that the nether is extremely tame when it comes to invading overworld, I wouldn't even mind if uncontrolled bloodwood growths somehow invaded overworld.

Re: Moving Bases
The amount of time the Nether can save you in transportation is obscene. how does the nether make traveling faster. I always thought portals were about the same distance apart as they were in the over world. Read about it on the wiki . Relevant excerpt: If the player creates a portal in the Nether ...

Chickens are inherently evil, they belong.
Anyway, I wouldn't be opposed if there's was a fair (but dangerous) trade for 'em.

Ok, I didn't want to post here, but "The Nipples that explode with delight" sounds pretty darn cool if you ask me. Also, I really wish I'll get that free DotA 2 code, that guy who wanted to play LoL (pffft, lol) reminded me of my love to DotA and I am pretty darn hopeful that I could meet ...

Re: My single problem with BTW.
I am very intimate with my anger, comfortable even. It's a nifty little feeling which is very useful for incinerating any other unwanted feelings in a tiny knot of anger and then exhaling it with a breath. Heck, I've become so good at that, that I can stop it dead after the first syllable and finish...

Oh my.
Serriously, Deadpool, Game. Wow.
I'll wait for the reviews I think. I like Deadpool way too much to play a shitty game for no better reason than that it's staring him.
Still, wow.

(I second the "sticky this". At least for a little bit. Until people get that they are retarded and that it takes a long time to cure that.) That's the thing of it though. It won't stop. So long as there is a steady stream of people joining the forum (which is by no means a bad thing, so ...

I don't feel like searching for the post, but The Device™ is two 3x3 platforms with a 2 high space between them, the centers are diamond blocks, the rings are SFS blocks and some redstone. It's something FC posted as a clue, it was also in his "big update" video, which isn't available anym...

I love that comic mostly because the guy's so different from any other super-hero, and no, not because he's conflicting good devil sorta guy, no, that's actually not that original at all, it's because he's.. Re: New Computer Time
So Matlab, Origin, CAD and similar? Those are mostly CPU and RAM heavy. I think the best idea would be to do a search for lappies which hit your price mark and then choose from them based on ratings/reviews/benchmarks and how closely they match your criteria. In essence - do your homework. But to be...
