No joke, once every fkn time I got mad for building something I did not like, I would say in 1 week I changed worlds 1-2 times. No joke, once every fkn time I got mad for building something I did not like, I would say in 1 week I changed worlds 1-2 times.
But I am sticking with my currently main world for around a month so I am proud :)

Make a large biomes world, then MCEdit your base into it.

If there is a way to turn my 1.2.5 world in a large biome thing I will do a nether portal far away from my original one and start generating new chuncks.

We're kind of already highly encouraged to automate the kiln because it takes so long to do manually. I personally don't see a point in making this change. And besides, how do you fit into a kiln? It's a 1x1 hole O_o EDIT: gigantic phallus flower. If it matures fully, it becomes a exploding phallus...

The kiln gets very hot when it cooks stuff, why not take damage while you stand inside of it (kinda like swiming damage)

Still you could turn it off if you wanted to.
I personally feel that It would be a great addition, since it would mean more preocupations on later game when you have armours available, they make later gameplay a tad bit too easy.

I think what you could do is make the iron drops more rare than they are, you will still produce iron with mob traps but far more less.

I was watching an old episode of dirty jobs and they were talking about tanning leather, they mention the medieval age and the dog dung and then they mentioned salt as part of the tanning process in some kind of acid if I am not mistaken! Yeah i had a setup almost identical to that and a skeleton spawned inside and my wolf ended up teleporting to me. (Ended up stuck in a chest of all places). I had this happen several times until I replaced the dirt blocks they were sitting on with glass. NOTE: I don't think there's any point in fur...

Are your wolves sitting on transparent blocks? I've had a mob spawn on the same block as my wolf and push him off into the water. And then he teleported to me (I think that's how it happened). Back on topic, I think that the reason pigmen drop gold is because a few of them have a cancer, of sorts, where the tumor is a golden nugget. This just in.
