Hmm i don't think many have utilize the new smooth stone creation procedure. I have a lava and water source generated at the same level in a ravine that I have some plans for but I'm not sure how it will work.

Im Not complaining about the changes to the cook times at all just how it altered my playstyle. With the very long smelting times for Iron\gold though i find it much easier to use brick ovens until late game after the anvil is acquired and kiln automation is possible. My reasoning? Yeah if i realized I'm hitting an ocean i just go to the overworld and make a 1 wide (high up) slab bridge across the ocean.
