Re: Total Annihilation - an ("Ancient") RTS
Yeah TA was pretty awesome, the multiplayer was excellent, the factions were fighting for control over planets(the multiplayer maps) from homeworld to homeworld, the "season" ended when one homeworld was conquered by the other side.

Re: Simple Bovine Processing Tower-thing
Yeah, that's sorta my setup as well. On a more constructive note; you don't have to delay the timing on the trapdoors, the calfs stop on the opened trapdoor underneath & stay on the trapsdoor while it closes. Try opening them all at the same time with a single pulse going down (or up), should wo...

Like Morv said, get some good advice regarding scholarships, even if it doesn't cover the whole amount, it's a start. IF you absolutely have no other choice, get help from your dad yet give him little leeway to perform emotional blackmail, also don't loan money from such a person. While it's true th...

Oi...you don't want to hear some of my early design ideas for the Wiimote. The first question I of course asked about the new hardware was "so, does it vibrate?". The second was "is it water resistant?" As wise as they are, aren't those questions the very obvious first ones when...

I never quite understood why male players made female avatars ingame, one of my friends made a valid point by saying "if i'm going to stare at an ass for hours on end, i prefer to do it at a female's rear.".

Well he can sling bull with the best of them. Re: DayZ an Arma II mod you have to try!
yeah, i've noticed the articles on RPS & pcgamer and was reading up on it. Seems like a blast but the ARMA2 engine seems a tad dodgy & ARMA3 is announced for the end of this year. Modders already mentioned that they're going to migrate to the newest game so i'm unsure if it's a good idea to ...

The facts: Brussels to Paris is like what? An hour with the Thalys, if you book up front it costs less than €40. You've known her for 8 months, it is a scientific fact that after about a year the "infatuation" phase passes and the actual "relationship" begins. You've stated that ...

Re: How Minecraft has changed me as a gamer
True but i feel that with the recent kickstarter crowdfunding and the indie scene boom they might catch on. It's also a bit of an endless downward spiral, gamers want shinier games, publishers deliver, hey, the second game has to be even purtier than the first, if it doesn't then the first one was &...

Re: How Minecraft has changed me as a gamer
So, something like Skyrim ends up feeling more primitive to me as a game than something like Project Zomboid, which is of course ass-backwards to what I'm sure most people's reaction is. Yes, the environment may be awesomely detailed, but in terms of what you can actually do in it, it's pretty damn...

Well, i haven't had the chance and i think it'll be awhile since i'm effectively isolated with about 6 systems connected to 1 system with a warplane out to the rest of the galaxy so i'll need to perform research first. Unless the Carvers (think they have warp lane capability to start with) chance th...

Re: Endless Space and uncontrollable drooling
So after buying the Emperor Edition & playing a turn or 20 (not enough free time :s), it's been great so far, some rough edges but i'm sure they will be taken care off when they release.
Spent some time with the eyecandy & it just all comes together perfectly :)
