Re: No more turtles
No offense yahoos of the forum... None taken haha. On a serious note, it truly is sad that someone would do something like that. So now there are only three people with fancy colored names right? And I know it does not matter anymore since the group is no longer there but if you don't mind me askin...

Yup, he did, but I think that was more putting on a show to give the surface appearance of being impartial. I think it's pretty evident that he's an RP fan boy with a grudge against me as a result, as I suspect our mole is as well. You think it was an intentional infiltration? Like something that h...

Is that a play on the fact that the white stone is made (sorta) from endstone? Or an odd reference to the fact that the windmills can't be used in the end? Or am I going crazy conspiracy theorist again?FlowerChild wrote:And here's a screenshot of my test facility put to its end use:

Re: simple 4 way even distrobution
Put a block in front of it? I think it doesn't output that way. Wouldn't the block get sucked in on the first pass since the buddy block will pulse, thus setting an off state and making the BD suck the item? My take on the two way: Instead of a buddy block under the BD, use another turntable with t...

Well there's no way to ensure an absolute even distibution but you could do something like put the items in a dispenser that dispenses at a measured rate into a water flow that branches and the branches are opened and closed in an alternating fashion with pistons based on a clock... I think a vanil...

Re: You show me yours, and ill show you my Windmill.
I don't have any pictures, but mine's easy to describe. First, make a 3x3 base out of cobble. Make that level with the ground. From each corner, build a 13-block-tall cobble pillar. Connect these at the top by placing a block of cobble in between each one. That should take 3 blocks, because you want...

I don't like this idea. I much prefer playing on peaceful, and I would do it all the time if I could. I only change the difficulty to collect hostile mob drops from my farms. This would make that impossible to do.

I watched it. It was pretty impressive. He didn't break the longest free fall record, but he got highest balloon ascent, fastest free fall, and highest free fall.

Re: Idea - Seismic Refraction Surveys
Hmm. This is an interesting idea for a mod, but I'm not sure it's right for BTW. It's a bit out of Steve's technology tier right now, in spirit at least. It would go well with a mod aimed at a higher tech level.

This is odd because I was actually watching Dr. Who tonight, although not this episode, and now I see that there's something about it on the forum. Mother of squid that 'Empty Child' episode is creepy. I think it's a few years old, but I'd never seen it before, and O_O. This is the second Dr. Who ep...

In related news, I have recently received a lovely PM from one Brethern over on the MC Forums, entitled 'It's nice to see how you distort facts.' Are you sure he's a former Mojang employee? I see that his profile says 'ex-Mojang', but that could mean a lot of things. He has been around for a very long time, though.
I also notice that in two years on the forum he's never +1'ed a single person. o_O

When I'm digging a mine or tunnel, I always put the torches on the right wall out of habit. I don't use that for navigation, because it's really hard to get lost in tunnels you've just dug. I generally don't leave intentional markers in caves. Like PatriotBob and Poppycocks, I'm pretty good at just ...

So does this mean that torches posses the ability to strengthen these weeks spots? or is it light that does it? So suddenly magic torches or light strengthens weaknesses in time and space preventing monsters from teleporting to that spot with the exception of endermen? That's what I've been wonderi...

Re: Ender Spectacles spoiler thread.
Hm... Does this mean that endermen are/will be limited in where they can teleport to by light levels? I'd guess that once they've gotten into a universe, it's fairly easy to move around inside. It's getting from universe to universe that's tricky. That's a totally uninformed guess, based on no info...

Re: FlowerChild's Dev Diary (week of September 24th)
You should just replace F3 with the iOS6 mapping system. Seriously, though, this is good. I'm pretty good about not using F3 (I occasionally use it to find my height while caving, but that's it). It had really never occurred to me to use it to find my way back to my base - I just either build at the...
