Re: The Outpost, a BTW Playthrough Journal
Really like this Journal Morv good job! It would be awesome though possibly tedious if Kwilt could do the voice for Cave Johnson for all the Guide Book parts. We'll see if he's interested. KWilt? I'd be honored. Seriously, it'd give me something that doesn't require me to be obliged to do an extrem...

Re: Who made this banner?
Depends what I want to do with it afterwards. I dunno. Sounds like it would be a derivative work, I think you'd be fine. Though I personally think 'photoshopping a penis' should have its own clause under fair use, just to be sure. Hmm... suddenly, Rule 34 spikes without repercussions. I don't think...

Re: My favorite game song ;-)
Oh thank God nobody's posted it yet. And I'm sure we all know what it is. Anyways, I'm really torn, because soundtracks are all fucking badass. But if I had to choose, I'd probably have to say either おはよう / Good Morning (from the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE ~知恵の樹~ OST) or Sweden (from the Minecraft - Volume A...

Oh. I'm glad to see the sword is back in. That was my one major gripe that I was willing to live with last update.
Also, a "secret project"? Oh lovely. This could be incredibly good or incredibly bad.

Apologies. Just wondering if it was an affliction of all mod blocks, and I don't see it warranting it's own thread since it's a fairly similar topic.Gilberreke wrote:This is the bug reports forum guys, no discussions here

Anyways, I can see how that'd be an annoyance. Slightly on topic, but do saw kills drop XP?

Interesting already. Can't wait for more. :D Also, when you said you were reading in the style of Cave Johnson... I couldn't resist. (Also, cut me some slack if it's shitty. It's 7 AM, just pulled an all nighter building on my RP server, and I did very little editing other than the <New Explorer> an...

Very, very impressive. It's definitely the largest, if not most impressive, time lapse I've seen Also, for the panning, if I'm thinking correctly, you could set up a long-term macro that only moves you at a certain pace. (For example, you may only want to move at a pace of one 30 ms press of the lef...

I'd love to join, but I can't really commit. I'm going to dive into my secret project as soon as the year rolls around, so I probably won't be able to juggle that, my BTW world, my roleplay server, actually writing up the story for the project, laddering in StarCraft II, all along with playing this ...

Re: Hazmat suits/Bulk glowsticks?
Up for some arts and crafts? I'd look for those old, old, OLD yellow raincoats, and just make your own little suits. The masks, though, they do nothing. Even though safety is our number one concern here. But in all seriousness, like I said, you'd be better off making the raincoats, and getting actua...

Re: The MC BTW topic!
Quick question, Flower:
The Technic Code, is it based on true events? I must know. The ending left me so curious, and I really believe you're on to something there. But the whole time, I just couldn't help but think the Technics Templars were just planting the ideas into the plot all along.

Re: Clocks
I definitely would love to see something that's actually time based, rather than having to rely on a turntable. (Mainly due to the issues you mentioned here.) So I don't see this being a bad idea at all. Maybe not at the current tech level (again, as mentioned, possibly using steel to further add to...

OK man, I got to ask: Why is one of the better ideas to have come out of these forums in the off-topic sub-forum? :) Really? As in, ideas to go into this mod, or ideas in general? Because I don't really see it fitting too much into BTW itself, but you're the boss... But yeah, I like the idea as wel...

Re: Expanded Maps
I honestly would like to see someone do something with maps. They're a great feature for overworld exploration. They're just too damn fidgety. The zoom is great for far travel, but if you're looking for something specific that might be small, they're a horrid use. I couldn't eve see a ravine I once ...

I'm not sure how they'll do it, to be honest.
But Will Wright sold the name 'Sims' for nearly a decade with nothing but a few graphics tweaks and pregnancy, so I'm sure Minecraft can pull something off.

It's just for shits and giggles man. I'm getting a laugh at how utterly these guys fail when I can respond to them. They're winding up looks pretty idiotic each time they pop up these days. "And for many generations, the BTWers and SA members feuded. There were few survivors, though no one is quite sure who truly triumphed in the battle." Like I've said in my few posts in the past days, I don't see what dredging up all this accomplishes. It's common that Kaker and anybody who...

Ugh. Agnostics. Don't get me STARTED about them. It's late at night, I'm sure I'd regret ranting about them in the morning, so I'll restrain myself :) Ah, don't be mad at us. Just wondering, are there any atheists here who celebrate Hanukkah? I'm an atheist, but I still celebrate christmas, and I guess that's because it's what I grew up with, so I'm wondering if any ex-jew atheists celebrate hanukkah. I don't think I've ever run into any atheists that pay any mind to Ha...

Re: What are ou doing to get ready for Christmas?
Well, I'm single again this year, so I don't get to spend the holiday with whomever I love. ._. I kinda stopped caring about Christmas for anything other than spending time with people, really. Though, now, I tend to get drug to see the people I'd rather not be spending Christmas with, so it's a fai...
