A few releases ago, I noticed this change:
Removed melon slice to melon block recipe so that they can't be compacted into an easy to transport food source without the use of a silk-touch enchant.
Melons drop the melon block when broken by anything, so...?

Ok, found a witch hut at last :D
There is a rail running 2/3rds of the way to the portal, and a covered path for the remainder distance (it has rails, but no powered ones). Of course we need to set up a witch farm now :P
It ends up about 8000 blocks out in the overworld.

O.K, I don't really know how to put this, but all , every single one, of my villagers just disappeared. The area around them was completely lit (I know from true sight), and there were 90 of them. I had one for each of the scrolls, even... There is simply no way in which I can afford get them back, ...

Definetly agree with you there. Soul bottlers are the most versatile type of machine, in that there are so many different types: turntable based; self powered; compact; ridiculously oversized; I could go on :)

Since the introduction of HCH, I have suffered the 'dying' effect multiple times, and have got the blindness potion effect from it. However, when I was blind, no blocks were visible at all - just darkness all around. Blindness normally allows you to see the blocks around you. Is this a dodgey instal...

Honestly, I was taken aback by the huge iron change, but I think I like it. The clock thing made gold from villager clocks virtually impossible, which is great, and I love the armour changes (I rarely wear anything other than boots, so this is great for me).
