I did see an item on creative mode called "Redstone Eye" not sure what it is or how to use it.

Ye there's no new age here, plus there's no textures for the tanned leather leather gear, could just be cause of texture pack though.
I checked the class files, nothing new there.

I think this is just a bug fix patch and FC is having a laugh.

So what is the soap and potash for?

Yah originally the back was also part wood part brick, but with several Hibachi's...it was a fire hazard. ;P
I did try stone bricks, but the grey didn't blend with the exterior.

Well i can easily use 300+ wool blocks on one room alone, so traps and hunting in 1.8 isn't practical.

Its a shame that say 4 hemp fibers couldn't make 1 wool block, this would skip the string part FC is uncomfortable with, or maybe even use the fabric it makes.

I tend to use a lot of wool in my survival game designs, but since we now can not use hemp, and sheep don't respawn....I very hard to find wool...and I don't wanna spend half my game searching for spiders to farm string, or searching miles and miles just to get a few sheep....and mob traps aren't th...

Ok so I thought about the temp problem of tanning, and thought of idea that could have 3 uses. Tea Plant. It would work the same as hemp:- 1) Concentrated tea leaves could be used for tanning leather. Tea leaves contain tannin. The millstone could grind the plant to make the ground tea leaves. 2) Us...

I do like the idea of oil and refineries, at the moment though, oil is too tough to find and in very limited quantities. Another automated way to make oil, through say growing BTW hemp or similar that could be converted into oil or bio-fuel, would be neat indeed.....water wheel > Auto Hemp Farm > Ho...

If you don't install the BC energy mod, all BC machines are powered by redstone (either alternating or static depending on a config setting), otherwise you can install Gilberreke's Techpack Energy which allows you to use BTW mechanical power to improve BC redstone engines. I removed the energy pack...

I'd actually like to know if there is any alternative to powering devices in BC such as quarries and refineries using IC2 or BTW items, instead of the extremely inefficient and bugged engines BC uses for power?

Is the filliment also a hint at possible future tech integration? ;P

This slanging match, tit for tat, gets us nowhere, and only serves to remove us from what this forum is about, and that's FC's hard work on our favorite mod and the community that supports it :)

Personally I love the idea of mod packs, but the problem with them I see and can understand from the individual modder's point of view, is that their work kinda gets lost in the whole and most importantly the ones getting 90% of the credit from it all is the one who compiled it and may not have even...

I think yogscast's success is going to their heads, they started accepting gifts and sponsorships to promote other games etc. To them it's no longer a hobby for them and is now their job, but the more success they get, the less and less they do things about minecraft, and instead flood their channel...
