Re: Edolas 2.0

Yet another amongst the many things motivating me towards creating my own game :) You bet I'll be there to check it out. Your KSP mod has shown me that I can count on you chucking out enjoyable gameplay reliably unlike most Indie companies. To avoid sliding off-topic: Wgurgh, I sent you a PM, pleas...

Re: Edolas 2.0

What's stopping you? Just the usual things I suppose. First of all I'm pretty heavily involved in a certain gaming clan at the moment, moderating and administrating some of our servers, and since the clan has mostly moved on to other games by now, so have I. (the universal "I don't have the ti...

Nice to see this server is seeing a continuation.

Out of curiousity: Did anyone ever stumble over Dark's/my corner of the map?

Re: Starbound Beta release (4th december)

What I'm hoping for is that they're going to end up making the alpha sector trivial but then ramp up the difficulty as you progress. Wasn't the plan to have 10 different sectors total? There's enough room in there to accomodate all difficulties from "do it blind if you like" to "insta...

Re: Starbound Beta release (4th december)

The difficulty of the game really is pretty high compared to other mainstream games, so I'm not suprised they're adjusting it down to raise sales (noone wants to be known for making a challenging game anymore sadly). In my opinion having enemies so difficult that you can't meet them in open combat r...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Since I still don't want to be a distraction and/or waste time, I'll keep this very short and omit the 3-page-long list of things I love about what you've done with this FC. Again; this was way more fun than the original tech tree. I just feel 20 screenshots don't help as much as a short summary of ...

Dreams come true!

I'll leave some feedback, when I'm through.

I hear you there. xD

I've made the mistake of having too many options in one of my game studies ... lets just say it's good balancing practice (read: a balancing nightmare/marathon).

Re: HC Spawn observation

now that I'm at my desk and can see MiC's map, I think his luck with spawning near the borders of so many biomes was mostly luck on his part. I can tell you it is much more difficult when you spawn in the middle of extreme hills instead of at the edge. Well, you can see so many borders because the ...

Re: HC Spawn observation

Not sure how much help it is, but here's how I picture my map in my head (I've never looked at it with MCedit or other tools). East is up on it, the star is my base and the arrows respawn locations as I remember them. The red lines are the paths I took to get back. (You can easily deduce my "ru...

HC Spawn observation

After a long break I've finally returned to BTW once more, rediscovering the beauty that is this mod. Thanks for that, FC. I was particularly excited about HC Spawn, since it promised to make dying what it should be: a pain. After playing for a while (lots of deaths and respawns at 7 different locat...

Thanks for continuing to develop this mod despite all that has happened over time. :) I'm currently co-administrating an FTB server, trying to beat some semblance of gameplay and difficulty into it (we have our own modpack for that). We're getting lots of "more, better, easier, faster, ..."...

Greetings everyone,

I haven't been here in a while.
Razz, Dark and I have been thinking it would be nice to visit sometime, check out the old places, see what has changed in the time weve been gone.
What I'd like to know is, wether we are actually still whitelisted and can show up anytime?

Yeah, I was aware there was an option but never used it nor felt the need to since gearboxes can be rotated.

I also don't know anyone who does use it so I'd say go ahead and drop it.

Aha! The fact that this conflicts with Rei's Minimap is the hidden feature! Seriously, I consider people using Minimap on an anarchy server to be a real problem, so the idea that they no longer work together pleases me. You're right in that there's a baseclass conflict BUT the minimap still works w...
