Re: Quackers Friendly Coop Server [Whitelisted]

Looks like the nether is ok. Not hooked up to the old world, but construction is still there.

Should probably start keeping regular backups just in case though.

Re: Quackers Friendly Coop Server [Whitelisted]

The only issue i'll have now is that the nether isn't connected to the old world in the newly combined map. -_-

Re: Quackers Friendly Coop Server [Whitelisted]

Any ETA on when the server might be back up?

As a side note, how do you feel about building above the bedrock ceiling in the nether? I devised a few methods recently on a single player world to get up there.

Re: Quackers Friendly Coop Server [Whitelisted]

Hopefully they can recover something. It would be annoying to get back to the old world, relight everything up again, clear the same amount of jungle, and build my auto smooth stone harvester again, but I could deal with it.

Re: Secondary bases

I typically avoid making secondary bases unless absolutely necessary and prefer to keep everything in a central base, but I do make hidey holes and markers around various places. For example, whenever I go exploring I make periodic pillars that point back in the direction I came from. After numerous...

Re: Mid-Game Slump

I feel a bit differently. For me personally, I have always enjoyed the automation aspects of BTW more than any other feature. The early game, while certainly enjoyable, tends to leave me feeling confined until I reach about crucible tech. This has led me to become more creative with the earlier tech...

Re: Can't figure out a low-tech item detector

You can use a bio clock. It is not as efficient as "see egg shoot another seed", but it can be used to feed your chickens on a regular basis: 7JetZ2Z6Z90 Just wire the output of the pressure plate to your seed dispensers. You don't need to use a sticky piston and can instead just use a reg...

Re: Quackers Friendly Coop Server [Whitelisted]

I think we are probably ready to kill the wither and soon after that go to the End.

I have a priest waiting for a star, 14 ender pearls waiting to be converted, and a spot in the nether to kill it.

mc_dunedin has the wither skelly skulls for it as well.

Just saw the thread and I am interested in joining if you are still accepting people. IGN name: razar51 I have been playing BTW since version 2.91. Re: BTW Mempries as 4 Year anniversary aproaches

Let's see here. According to my archive of BTW versions that I kept I started with BTW in version 2.91, so sometime in August 2011 while I was in College. This was well before any HC modes came out and the mod seemed to be based mostly around automation and construction. Better Than Wolves was the f...

I enjoy building large and complex machines/contraptions. In order to get to the point of mass producing the components required for these machines, I have to progress through the tech tree and explore the world.

the end has no dragon and no way out as well. that is the status of the end Is there a plan to remedy this? Deleting the end map and letting it recreate itself may be the only fix without some form of dragon spawn command.. if the end dragon wont spawn, can't we just make an obby beacon and use end...

I also am getting nothing but a black screen upon startup. Also, for me at least, for the last few versions since 0.0.7, I have seen nothing but vanilla biomes. Don't know what I might be doing wrong, if anything. I have followed the installation procedures to no avail. When you create a world you ...
