If you're talking about the fact that FC is starting to get weird Eg gimp suit, you're not alone there. That update aside mining charges are great. besides you don't have to use the gimp suit. That's the great thing about games, noone can force anything down your throat. Lol! Brethern, wtf is your ...

Re: Is cooking pumpkin seeds for food cute?
I think you have 'cute' and 'sexually arousing' confused, man They're not the same thing? I guess I am confused. 'Cute' tends to be young, and will get you between 10-25 depending on the state (in America at least). 'Sexually arousing' tends to be cute, matured and legal. At least, that's when it's...

Re: Going from 1.0 to 1.8 using mcnostilgia.
It seems from what the guy said, you have two options, find an old 1.8.1 jar and use that, or wait for 1.0. By can you try something, just for the hell of it, can you try installing modloaderMP, as well and see what happens. I doubt, highly doubt it will do anything, but some other guy got it worki...

If you have to move your head to cycle the bolt you're doing it wrong. A real rifle is designed that the bolt can be cycled while aiming down sights.

Re: Considering dropping Forge
I wasn't going to post anymore but after watching the recording of diego's stream. I'm going to state my opinion on the matter. I searched for the longest time to find a mod that gives a fun and challenging way to craft explosives, that doesn't involve sand. I also like the new tools that aren't a c...

Re: Integrating black dye into the tech tree
could someone fill me in? mob traps won't work in 1.8? Mobs stop moving if you aren't withing a certain range, but if you are within that range, they don't spawn. So yeah, mob traps don't work anymore, unless you move away, move back and repeat, which means you have to stay moving at all times. No ...

Re: Integrating black dye into the tech tree
It is really annoying though. Mojang really tries to kill mob grinders with sneaky blows under the radar. Agreed. I really don't like this. Obviously they've still got it in for mob-traps, they only temporarily bowed to public pressure by not disabling their drops. What I don't get is that mob-trap...

I'm trying to stay out of it and only answered a few questions she had, someone else alerted her of your conundrum Yeah, it doesn't surprise me. She routinely justifies these kind of things. But really, just take a look at Flax and Pipes and the arguments fall apart. As I said, those two features w...

Re: Considering dropping Forge
Would a user-maintained compatibility patch be an option here? I'm just thinking out loud. I'd have to think about it, but I doubt I'd authorize it since it would necessitate redistribution of mod-files and leave the door open for Technic (let's call a spade a spade here). Technic doesn't want BTW ...

I know that they existed before but I wanted a challenge. Then you are doing it wrong :P If anything, RP makes things too easy, not challenging... Redstone is binary and Red power is C++ you can program in both but involves less work. Exactly. Less work is what you were trying to avoid, right? Now ...

Re: Weekly Poll: #7 How much time do you spend playing MC?
My biggest issue with MC is that I could play for hours, but there's this little hangup where after an hour of play I tend to get bored. Killing mobs is fun so is mining. But trying to cave dive without getting lost is hard.
