Just tried it. Travelled a lot further in one direction than I ever have, nothing exceptionally special occurred. A few weird trees, lava flowing from a mountain into the ocean, but nothing outside the realms of normal minecraft...

Aether really missed the mark on that, but they did counter it with extremely strong mobs. If you're going to improve healing, you need a reason. We can already kill most standard mobs in 1 hit (spider jockey being the rare exception)
