Re: One Punch!!!

I seem to remember it being everywhere when it was airing, how did you miss it? lol

I'm currently in absolute love with the manga, on the fence with whether I want to try getting through the comic.

Re: Your favorite games of all time list

Interesting list! I've never thought much about mine... but I suppose if we're going to base it on playtime (that was actually enjoyed), mine would be: Monster Rancher (1997), Spyro 1 & 2, Psychonauts, The Sims 2 (I could not even begin to imagine how many hours I put into it. several thousands,...

Re: Help me with music?

If I just played music I liked, it would be all Disturbed and The Offspring, haha. I've been at worse weddings :) Pretty sure I'd have a good time if the DJ played nothing but Disturbed and The Offspring :D lol Unfortunately a lot of the guestlist is older family members and a few little kids so I ...

Re: Help me with music?

Thanks for the recs guys! I'll be going through it all tonight. And like I said with my own taste, it's 15 years old at this point. If I just played music I liked, it would be all Disturbed and The Offspring, haha. I'm sure my mom would be happy as hell if I added nothing but 70s music, though! .......

Help me with music?

I think I've mentioned a few times on the forums that I'm engaged, well the big day is this Saturday! ..and I don''t have the music put together, because I am lazy and also not actually into music? I tried asking for people to request their favorite songs on their RSVPs but only like, 4 people did, ...

Re: Some gorgeous (custom) Minecraft terrain

I live in the country, so 2k would last me quite a long time. *shrug* But I wasn't even saying paying that much for the map isn't valid. It totally is. Just trying to give reasons why that much money is that much money for some of us. Like, my fiance earns OVER minimum wage (by a little) and he does...

Perhaps most of us are used to used to minimum wage. Or are thinking about the fact that $2k is several months worth of rent/bills.

Re: Vazkii removes a config option from his mod, hilarity en

Buckets maybe? That's the only one I can think of that might have been close, especially since I think it's the first big one that I decided to make non-optional. Yes, buckets! That's what I was thinking of. I remembered there was some config that made the game more difficult that you decided to in...

Re: Vazkii removes a config option from his mod, hilarity en

I mean, there's be tons of uproar over FC not having configs over this and that in the past.

Beds were definitely the BIGGEST I think, although I swear there was another that was even more of a shitfest, but it's escaping my memory atm.... (posting at nearly 2AM seems unwise, now that I consider it)

In my experience, too much heat for long periods of time have the opposite effect on people. In these conditions you just want to sleep all day long and do nothing... Ugh, yes. I live in such a hot, hot part of CA. For the summer I switched to the same sleeping schedule as my night-shift security g...

As a rather unremarkable woman, I am going to.. steer completely clear of that bit of conversation that went on above and add to the delightfully dull weather talk: I'm personally fond of fall. Has my favorite holiday (not the one with turkey!), my anniversary, and generally neutral temperatures. Do...

Re: The Beginner's Guide (game)

Man the entire OP kind of feels like a spoiler for the game, just saying. Might want to reword it, put it under a spoiler? Haha. As for my own thoughts.. There is no way I think Coda is real. He's fictional narrative for the game. If he were real, the game would be an ethical trainwreck, which, well...

Given that he is/has been a single dude, buying that giant mansion was probably his first mistake. You just.. don't really need that much space? He prob would've been better off like, decking out a penthouse suite somewhere. Then he'd have neighbours he could see regularly, things like that. At leas...

I've tried sharing BTW with my fiancé (banjo & kazooie guy in my avatar.) He's not into playing minecraft in general, not like I am, so it was an uphill battle. In the end, for whatever reason, he couldn't get over the hunger system. He kept insisting that "it's unreasonable that you have t...

I cringed reading through that yesterday. Being critical - hell, being harshly critical - is one thing. Personal attacks are another. I felt like there could have been a way to conduct that interview to call PM on all his bullshit without being unprofessional.

Re: Breaking Bad, the Fly episode

The episode is definitely significant, one of my favorites. What Jessie says about his aunt and the raccoon, I think, is very important, as well as the final shot (if I'm remembering it correctly.)

It was also just really funny, at least to me. But then again, I love bottle episodes.

Guys. What if Microsoft buying Mojang has to do with phones? I mean, Windows Phone is practically ignored by the masses; maybe they bought Mojang to port Minecraft to their phone OS, as a way to boost its market share... Well that's certainly a part of it. I already saw something talking about a wi...

I've seen a handful of zombie stuff use loud music/speakers to get zombie attention. Most recent I can think of is the latest episode of second season of The Walking Dead (game). But yeah, like Taleric said, electricity quickly becomes an issue in an apocalypse. A battery powered stereo would only g...
