Re: Kerbal Space Program 0.22 anticipation thread

Once you've run it once, you get a file called tree.cfg in your save folder. Entries in it look like this: NODE { name = newnode_3963 techID = aerospaceTech pos = -488,1008,-9 icon = AEROSPACETECH cost = 1500 title = Aerospace Tech description = trying to build a Helicarrier are we? anyParent = Fals...

Re: Kerbal Space Program 0.22 anticipation thread

I haven't had a chance to play with the new version yet (reserving tonight for that!). But I would quite like to see a version of the tech tree that puts basic plane parts in the first node. Then we can fly around in atmosphere collecting parts from the biomes they were talking about (assuming those...

Re: Enable natural blaze spawning

I actually had a lot of fun building a trap around a blaze spawner. It was interesting, in that blaze's are hard to fight, so it make sense to build a machine to deal with them. But that machine is expensive, takes a while to make, and is vulnerable at all times to anyone who stumbles across it. I t...

Yeah, I wasn't really sure where to put it, so I erred on the side of caution. If a moderator could move it, that would be much appreciated.

Better than Wolves Let's Play

Hey guys! While playing on the server, I decided to try my hand at doing a sort of let's play (well, more of a let's build at this stage). I did a quick tour of the bits of the server I was in, and then set to work doing some builds. I actually had a lot of fun recording playing, which I'm taking as...

Got excited when I saw the previous thread was unstickied. Obviously excited about the moulding placement system, and of course hardcore bone. Actually also very happy with the smaller feature of converting unfired pottery to clay - that will make testing an autopottery so much easier.... Thank you ...

Re: Bellows, redstone, and no turntables question/help

I'm fairly sure this'll have problems on world-restart. Give it a few tests existing and entering the game again to make sure. I was under the impression that the reliability of these pulsars had been increased since the old days where they'd freeze consistently on world-restart. Could be wrong tho...

Re: Bellows, redstone, and no turntables question/help

It's basically a variant of what that guy did in his videos where he hooked his Bellows system up to a pulsar that everyone still mocks from time to time. Would that be me? It was just a test! I'm sorry! *sobs* Also "still" mocks? :( OT: I think you can also get rid of the redstone on top...

Re: Show us your builds!

Quick video showing a sheep shearer I designed. I didn't look to see if anyone has done anything similar, but basically it uses the turntable to move the harvested wool away from the sheep for collection. Hardcore sheep got me thinking about a way to do this, and this is what I came up with (breedin...

Still can't believe you've managed five for five. You've blown my mind. Also, liking the fact that the recipe for kibble uses bonemeal rather than simple bones, as it means we have to seperate the bones from the mob trap, grind them, and then have the result meet up with the rotten flesh. Looking fo...

Re: Hardcore sheep (spoilerish)

When FC said that it works how we would expect it to, my thoughts were drawn to HCB, and I had a mental image of people running around with buckets of liquid sheep, unable to place them down without it just washing away. :P Edit: OT: Ribky: what were the colors of the others? All white? While a gene...

Re: [Solved]Need serious help with a tree farm..

Just wanted to post here that I've spent a little while playing around with Stormweaver's design. Wow! It's the most impressive thing I've seen in a while. Made up of several independant parts, buildable in AofV, pretty cheap. Also, very easy to expand upon. Just took a little bit of tinkering to ad...
