Re: Amalga: Co-op - V4.A1 Humpdated Camel
Hey there. So, uh, I haven't played this mod (or Minecraft at all) in about....two years, but I recently decided to give BTW a google to see if people were still playing it, saw that FC had just released a new version, and downloaded the single player....now, a lot has changed since I've last played...

Re: Hello from a long time lurker
From another ultra-lurker(this is my first post in....months), welcome to the forums! I do much the same as you, reading every post and looking through new topics, but rarely reply and I don't believe I've ever even thanked FC for his work. So this post will also be me chiming in to say - thanks, Fl...

Well, I for one hope you won't be gone for good. I liked your LP series, and always thought you contributed well to the community, if sometimes a bit off-track. Hope you won't be gone for an indefinite amount of time.
I hope this isn't considered a necro.

I like the ghast one best. The squids have weird glitchiness, the wolves are...bushy. The ocelots are okay-looking, too.

You can change the biomes with this, mineraft world painter http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/231255-worldpainter-new-map-creatorgenerator-work-in-progress/ I think "hell" is one of the options to change a biome to Yes, this is what I was referring to. I just wish it didn't change the e...

Well, you could change every biome to a hell biome for danger....but then the hell mobs would spawn underground as well. If only it was possible to have different biomes on different layers.

So, back to the original discussion. Using BTW 3.71 and Optifine HD C1, here are some thing I've noticed that work/don't work. Water is invisible when playing on Fancy graphics. Can't use the Zoom key in Optifine. Can't use the Fast Debug Info option in Optifine. Some weird block rendering glitches(...

Craftguide itself works fine in BTW 3.70 but BTWGuide and Buildguide does not :( It must have something to do with the change in the stewing pot code. EDIT: I meant to say, whenever you open the book the game chrashes Confirmed, BTWGuide doesn't work in BTW 3.70. Here's the crash, LoneWolf. java.la...

Re: Computer's busted. Any recommendations for a new one?
So at this point I am going to build a computer, thanks to all your great advice. I managed to recover the old one through some crazy process where I installed ubuntu, changed the partition size, then reinstalled windows into the new partition. So I have my old computer, albeit without any files. I ...

In my case, the mouse stopped working, and I could still hear my friends over TS but couldn't activate my voice button. Try this. It's a hotfix for 64bit win7 systems that randomly freeze. I had my installation for a full year before it started freezing. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2265716/en-u...

Thanks guys. If I do build, I'll be sure to check and double-check everything, and I'll get some of my more computer hardware-literate friends and family to help me out.

Hm. Thanks for the info. I've never actually built a computer myself, though I have heard it's cheaper than buying a prebuilt. Maybe I'll ask my brother(who is far more skilled in the computer hardware department) to help me out with that.

Hey people. This is my first topic ever on here, which I find quite interesting considering my join date. ;) So a quick background: So recently(yesterday) my computer decided to shut down on me. Yes, I had looked at this. I may end up PM'ing the guy later on to ask how he went about the coupling, and if it can be done with non-Forge code. However, I'm not sure if he would be willing to offer any guidance. Ah, understandable. You may also want to look at this(again, unless you've already se...

Any mods left over in the 'mods' folder from previous installations? That's why ModLoader even just by itself didn't work, I'm guessing.

Re: Running Multiple Versions of Minecraft and how I do it.
I use this. Have been using it forever. It's super simple to use, just makes Minecraft use the .minecraft folder that the wrapper thing is placed in. I just have a few folders within one main 'Minecraft Installations' folder that all have one of these installations placed inside.

I agree with Raust to a point, but I also agree with this: ...we are their playtesters. It's been this way since Indev, the players have always found the bugs, reported them, and Notch fixed them, but nowadays, I think they're trying to help out the modders, MCP team, and Bukkit, I guess, by releasi...
