Re: My single problem with BTW.
Man, I've been away from Minecraft and BTW for too long apparently. But after reading through most of the comments, I have realized something. I don't even blink when I kill a being in Minecraft. And locking creatures into small rooms with no light doesn't even ruffle my feathers. I'm a horrible hum...

Re: The Learning Curve: Redstone, Logic, and Applications
Gah, lots of reply's and little time to reply to them all! To all of you who said you are interested, thank you! I'm working on getting the teachers, lesson structure, and form of communication (YouTube, server, etc.) nailed down. That being said, I've also started working again (Hurray! =D ) so I'v...

By the way as a side note from the discussion: Does anyone else feel like we are gods talking about our pet Block-man experiment when we talk about what Steve has, will, and might discover? Well yes, in a way, we are. As people viewing his "life" from a higher social, economic, and techno...

Re: Thoughts on stone-grinding
That sounds like an interesting idea Fracture. Making windmills as efficient as waterwheels would be cool, due to what I think is there more pleasing aesthetic look. FC has seen the topic of a larger workbench, and this is what he said: As for the advanced workbench (or variations of the same idea),...

Re: help with auto hemp farm
You could set it up like Battosay did in his Auto Hemp Farm Tutorial . Basically, you surround the mill stones with water, which flows into a collecting canal below the millstones and into a hopper, which is powered and feeding them into a chest. It collects pretty much all of the hemp fibers. -BuLL...

Re: The BC12 - an automated mining machine
That is very impressive. Is there a reason that it only mines a 13x12x12 area? I'm assuming it's because of the size of the machine - larger machine = larger area mined perhaps? EDIT: Ah, that would probably be the correct answer there Battlecat. I don't use pistons much, so I often forget their res...

Re: The Learning Curve: Redstone, Logic, and Applications
Sorry for the late reply, I was busy getting a job and stuff. =D The biggest detriment I've seen to the majority of the tutorials dealing with Redstone is they all (except the most basic of tutorials) assume you already have prior knowledge, either because they don't want to explain it, or can't. A ...

Re: The Learning Curve: Redstone, Logic, and Applications
Well, there are already plenty of tutorials on redstone logic in general. If you mean the specific BTW applications- elevators, turntable clocks, how to power the block that a dispenser dispenses- then that could definitely be worthwhile. There are several tutorials, yes, but they simply show you w...

Re: Sarcasm galore?
The Daily Show is partly sarcastic, yeah (also part satirical). It mixes sarcasm with a more traditional style of talk shows. At least that's how I've understood it, I haven't watched that many episodes since it's often focused on American politics to a degree that I hardly find interesting :p Wait...

Re: How to fireproof your house from Cauldrons
Are the flames from a Hibachi grill different than the flames from burning netherrack? I built a simple fireplace (My house wasn't designed with redstone in mind, so I haven't updated it to cauldrons and hibachi yet) and while I originally had problems with the fire spreading, I just surrounded the ...

Re: BTW 1.7.3 wont work with More creeps 1.7.3
Well, if it's a block ID error, you're in trouble, because short of not using that block the way it is intended to function, you can't run the mods together. As far as I know, you'll have to choose between BTW or More Creeps.

Re: installed new version and game crashed, **FIXED**
How did you install the mods and texture packs? There are, as far as I know, no limits on what texture packs you can use; they simply edit HOW the game looks, not what's inside the game itself, as the mods do. What I would suggest is this: 1) Download newest version of stuff (I'm assuming you've don...

Re: installed new version and game crashed, **FIXED**
I don't see why texture packs would cause a problem, since the only things they change are the images the game loads, not the actual block id's or anything. Perhaps it's a problem with your HD Patcher? I run DokuCraft just fine with BTW.

If you ever want a brand new .jar easily, just delete the bin folder, then run your minecraft. It will create a brand new bin folder with the current version of minecraft. Well, a long list of things doesn't really give us much to go on. How did the game crash? What do you have installed, in the way of mods? Knowing the answers to these questions can help us identify your problem more quickly.
