Piston causing Array-out-of-bounds on Plank
I'm running a server for a few friends and myself, and I've had the same crash twice after building an auto earth packer. So far, I've been the only one of us to have crashed. Installation info: BTW V4.AFFFFFFFd and Gil's Legacy Skin Fix Installed via MultiMC jar mod insertion Java 1.8.0_191 Crash e...

Re: Terraria 1.3 (Hide your spoilers)
I had gotten a craving to play some more Terraria after Icy put out a video of it, and my friend has been eagerly awaiting the 1.3 release so we played for about an hour and half and I'm already done with it. The controls seem even more cruddy than I remember, namely the sword not attacking to the s...

I also find that when the average drops to around 16 frames or lower in minecraft, I get dizzy quickly :/ I have basically the same problem, but I get a headache instead of getting dizzy. I can handle 30fps but below that I start to get a headache usually. And actually for Minecraft if I'm not gett...

Re: First Iron Tool: Pick or Hoe?
I normally go for a pick first, but if I have access to pumpkins and there is a lot of surface or first strata iron still around after I get 2 ingots I make a hoe, and then follow that with a pick.

Re: how much time until a SFS beacon generates blight?
I was curious on this as well, I had a creative world open for several hours with a full tier SFS beacon in a forest biome trying to get blight to show up. Never did and I gave up.
I've yet to get a SFS beacon up in a survival world yet anyway to actually try playing with it at all.

Re: Medieval Engineers
There are still some great games being made due to it that might not otherwise though man. I do think that people need to be smarter about how they invest in these things, but I do think it serves a very useful purpose. I 'spose there is that. I guess those don't stand out as much as the games that...

Re: Medieval Engineers
Planetary annihilation is still unplayable for me... It literally just bombs when I build a map. Last time I tried I got about a 10 minute load in for a 6 planet solar system that a friend made. I think the worst example of this kind of thing I've seen from ea games so far was with Planetary Annihi...

Re: Starbound - Huge Winter Update
My friends and I played for a few hours one night, and we're probably not going to be playing again until another big update hits. One of my friend's character got deleted when he blue screened with the game open where as I just plain lost interest in it.

Re: Minecraft Augmented Reality
Some of you likely remember a time when "talking to yourself" was considered a sign of insanity. If you saw someone on public transit doing so, you usually gave them a wide birth. I'm still not used to this. I always think they're going crazy for a few seconds before I realize that they m...

Re: Starbound - Huge Winter Update
Unfortunately I haven't been able to play as much as I planned to this weekend, but one thing I can state for sure is that there are definite performance drops in some areas (namely the outpost). Another thing I'm not sure about is how the planet system works now. I started a single player character...

Starbound - Huge Winter Update
Starbound just released it's huge winter update. A lot of stuff has been changed, I thought I'd take a crack at commenting on my thoughts. I'm going to be playing this soon (probably this weekend) to confirm my thoughts as well. Patch Notes I'm going to highlight the things I find interesting below:...

Re: Golden armor, weapons, and tools in BTW
That was when gold ore -> gold ingot. So gold tools were actually cheaper then iron ones for a little while. I did realize it was that long ago. Time flies I guess. That was also when blocking didn't lower durability. I also did not know that this was a thing. I just assumed that blocking always lo...

Re: Golden armor, weapons, and tools in BTW
I believe it's the same level as wood tools.Niyu wrote: I whink it was wood tools.
As for use of gold tools. I remember in one of Icy's videos he made a gold sword and that saved him from a creeper blast. But as for me personally I don't use them.

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.99999A0F Marsupial!?!?) - NO SPOILE
-Added Hardcore Hunger for Wolves. I've been dreading this ever since my cousin mentioned something like this to me. If I'm correct in what it does anyway, makes them much more interested to have around early game. And upon googling "Hoofsies" all I find is MLP stuff. Not sure if intended...
