Re: Fringe: Out of control product placement?
Maybe I'm just blind to it. Maybe I'm naive. But I can still enjoy my favourite shows. Also it helps that there is no room for modern ads in shows like Game of Thrones or Spartacus. Generally I have to say the British shows are on whole new level when it comes to epic compared to your typical Hollyw...

Wow, I fancy myself a decent cook, but you just blew me out of the water there, Panda.
Also way to make me feel bad for being born a boy... I will never be your girlfriend and get such an epic meal.
On a more serious, less creepy note: Don't let my girlfriend read that. Like ever.

I don't know if that might help you but here goes: You could also the "soul urn finished" signal to give your counter a new pulse instead of a clock. Whatever amount you are counting, after that switch the inputs for the bottling process. Should give exactly 50/50 urn production from both ...

Don't feel bad because of those idiots. In my opinion you're doing exactly the right thing. I really don't understand why they would object to free advertisement on a fairly frequently visited board. If anything you're encouraging us to explore their site/packs and whatnot. I can't see a problem wit...

In case this is still going.
My notebook kind of "assploded" on Saturday. Until I have a gaming capable machine back up running I withdraw my participation.

You`re cracking me up after 30 seconds already. Please don't get me wrong, you just remind me too much of "Peter Lustig" and the Clips from the "Sendung mit der Maus". Außerdem schnaufst Du doch recht hörbar ins Mikro. Keep working on it, I'd like to watch some German Let's play ...

Re: A lesson these forums taught me.
I guess nearly everyone of the frequent posters had typed out a post just to not submit it. I recall statements about venting via said "almost-postings" in the suggestions forum. I believe the BTW Forums actually manage to walk the thin line between a dead forum and a forum full of useless...

Re: What do you do on your Free time?
I'm not doing that much, I guess. Playing Eve, reading a lot (studying English can do that to you), watching a bunch of Series, playing other games (mostly free, indie or retro stuff), programming a little bit in java with a fellow student, talking to my gf on the phone (long distance sucks), playin...

Re: Cement Physics: Anybody know a good video?
I found it very effective to build trenches at roof height, pour in the cement (power the source block). Let the cement first spread on the upper Layer and then remove the bottom of the moulding. It now flows down to create walls. Note however, that the walls become shorter the further away form the...

Re: What makes a good suggestion or idea.
Another thing that is most likely to be frowned upon (depress FC) is suggesting something that involves a block/ concept/ idea just added to the mod.
Chances are high, FC already thought of it while implementing the "first iteration" and has more plans for it.

Re: Anonymous wants to shut down the internet
Another thing to consider is that most DNS requests aren't handled by the Root servers themselves. There are a couple intermediate layers that cache DNS entries for regions of different sizes. (Please correct me if I'm wrong here.)

Re: Usernames?
Rasuth is the name of a swordsmaster in one of my first (if not the first) fantasy book I read. It's called "Schatten über Fraterna" by Andreas D. Hesse. He wrote many more children / teens fantasy books but isn't stocked very often any more. I've been using the name for quite a while now ...

Re: Dwarf Fortress: Noob(ish) observations
Honestly, I think most people would have just decided to create an entirely separate mod at this point, but I've planned out ways to integrate it into what is already there, even if it makes everything else feel like it was just an extended tutorial in preparation for the real game ;) Holy fuck. Yo...

The two I know of and follow on an irregular basis are called T...

Re: BraidedRazors a BTW Dwarf Fortress Succession game!
I took the liberty to explore the save a bit. (Mainly to familiarize myself with the fortress.) There is some limonite in the "round valley" in the southwest quarter of the map. As we are near a volcano, maybe we can find some marble to use as flux.
