I find their only useful value is the fact that when combined with your powder kegs they look like great beer kegs... ;)

Did you have any other wolves at the time? I have the suspicion that the beast can infect your wolves either through howls or biting them. Or you may simply have a 1x1 hole he slipped into. As for the hungry wolves sitting next to each other i've noticed that to but I've heard so many of them surro...

Here's an odd thought, could they be used as some sort of primitive resistor? I know Gold is a good conductor of electricity and Dung well erm I'm assuming has a poor conductivity. I agree. Also, the noise chickens make when they lay eggs (or when wolves poo) is very helpful in the early game if they are near your workshop.

Which in turns gives you the power you so desire. It is an arduous process, mind you, but well worth it in the end. You could also just build roads.

Wheat seeds are found in NPC Villages. Take note that it must be an occupied village. Also, it is often quite a long journey. It is most certainly possible to play through the early game with out wheat, though. Have fun!

First thing I noticed was that creepers drop their own oysters.

Upon eating them, one takes a little damage.

Has anybody else figured out a use for them?
