Re: Ignis (Co-Op Survival Server) [BTW V4.89PHILLIP]

My Whitelist Request: Your experience with BTW? I have played on and off for over a year and a half, and haven't played much recently because of other games with friends. Why do you want to join this specific server? I'd like to join a server so that my time playing Better Than Wolves means more, a...

Yeah, they've become a fad on my friend's server as well. Better yet, Mojang has created accounts that will never change for some of those blocks!

Re: What's your door? - Base entrance thread

In the early game I usually burrow into a cliff-side so I can use my entrance design. I place a door 3-5 blocks off the ground in the cliff from the inside. A ladder leads up to this door, and I use 1x2 vertical slits to see out of (and shoot out of). No block destroying needed, and nothing can get ...

Re: Better Than Starting Manned (Flower's WIP KSP mod )

Got an issue. I put a probe into orbit around the Mun, but can't get a reading from my gravioli detectors. I try, then it says it can't be done right now, and the button to take the measurement goes away until I relog. I'm at 150 km, and have enough power, so I don't get what's wrong. Bug, or a sill...

I could only find this for transferring crew between parts. Less than ideal it may be, but it does have that functionality.

Re: Kerbal Space Program 0.21 is out!

Wow, I totally thought that asparagus-ing was legitimate game-play. I was even annoyed by it, primarily because of the tedium of building them. My natural instinct was to think, "I can do it, and it works good, so I should do it." Yet again, an example of players not knowing what's best fo...

Re: Cube World! or YES another good voxel game!

This game looks like a lot of fun, but I am a bit worried that it will go the way of Minecraft. Quote of DaveChaos' Let's Play: "No no, he will own you!" "Is there any disadvantage to dying?" "No" "Then lets just go for it!" Also, I really hope that there are ...

Re: Anyone using tripwire hooks and what for?

Yup, I agree that tripwires have little place as they are. The idea of string "tugging" for signal transmission is quite seductive though. On occasion, I have considered transmitting a signals within my base for more automatic systems, but brushed it off because of the cost of the redstone...

Re: Old terrain generation nostalgia

This is exactly why I recently settled in an extreme hills biome: interesting terrain. Seriously, try the seed "booties". Awesome extreme hills, with cool cliffs and caverns. They are the only biomes that give me that sense of awe, besides ravines of course. Its unfortunate that it is so i...

Re: Scrolls...ok, wtf is going on?

With my slightly altered Energy deck, I always have a really rough start: particularly when going against Order and Growth. Like, the first 10 or more turns consist of me being torturously overwhelmed and pummeled by my opponent. I frequently pull it out though, building a mass of power by the end t...

Thanks for taking a look, as that is a fantastic design. I'll invent my own design for my purposes, so know that no one is waiting on you. Re: Noir's Designs and Videos (Illogically Compact!)

I believe that your compact soul bottler may be defunct, and I believe equally strongly that I wasn't able to reproduce it right from the pictures. My problem is that the urn dispenser toggles twice because of the BUD detecting the detector block going on and going off. The urn doesn't fill enough t...

I use CraftGuide, and used InventoryTweaks before it switched to Forge-only. Since managing abundant material wealth without the latter is an annoyance, Convenient Inventory will most likely replace it.

*raises hand* I'm in! I am not adept in my skill, but I think I could manage it for a year without utter destruction. My knowlege of how to work with the military and unusual embarks is pretty flimsy, so that should make for lots of nearly fun experiences.

He's all about internal consistency in games. So we may want to lean towards theories that include ele...

Indeed, the Nether is quite interesting. Does anyone have an explanation for why you can make redstone from hellfire dust and gold?
