Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion
It looks like they are considering stratification which I guess is interesting Dinnerbone has been doing a Q&A on reddit as I'm sure many of you may already know. http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comme ... ?context=3

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion
Dinnerbone said this a little while ago.
I'm sad now.
first oceans get nerfed, and now there's almost no reason to go to swamps anymore."Lily pads are a renewable resource in 1.7. Not through bonemeal or any farmable means though."
I'm sad now.

Re: Vanilla Minecraft News Discussion
I haven't seen any reference or pictures of cherry trees, but the biomes per-continent look like they have some sort of organisation now.

Buggy world generation
I am not sure if this is a bug with vanilla or BTW, but I found a bunch of chunks of land in the middle of an ocean that should not be there.
I have not updated my version of the mod, or changed anything with minecraft.

World gen screw-up
I recently died and found this, I have not updated the game at all or the BTW version since I've generated the world, and I have no idea if this might be the mod or a vanilla bug.

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.891)
I just wanted to say that from my last playthrough of your mod, things were very different. With all the new additions I really feel like I'm playing something new and challenging and it just feels so fulfilling to climb the tech levels and figure out ways to automate things. I just really like this...

Today was the first time in a half-year that I have played the mod, and watching icy's game with FlowerChild helped amazingly.

Re: Automation of animal farms [need help]
Yes, I have created an automated farm before, yet it takes at least 15 minutes for a cow to get processed and sometimes the cows get stuck I know that sounds a bit dumb, but I can't find a way to make it more efficient :( I'm just not that good at this technical stuff. also, I am checking out Six's ...

Automation of animal farms [need help]
I just got to being able to automate my animal farms, but I don't know how to design an automated farm that is efficient. Though I don't think there is much difference between automating cow, pig and sheep farms, I would like to start out with a cow farm.

Re: Zombie Pigman Spawner
While that is an impressive display, that's also a massive performance drain machine. I'm pretty sure trying to load that would crush this computer. I actually like to use portals, so screwing around like this would screw up my travel network. FlowerChild intends to disable zombie pigmen spawning f...

Zombie Pigman Spawner
Possible! I was looking at my youtube subscriptions and saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oASYNT0Xdus
this is only about the second trap shown in the video! This is a functional pigman farm that you can "easily" make [requires almost a full double-chest of obsidian]

Re: What should I do with him?
Some other way of driving sheep insane. Actually, I imagine that if there's ever a way to remove a breeding harness from an animal, the animal would have been driven mad by the imprisonment, and the pain of having the harness removed. I'm lead to understand there are fishhooks in there. The mad ani...

Re: Sorting feathers from chicken [need help]
On-topic: I suppose the best way to use the bellows then is to create a small chamber wherein items are dropped in at a controlled rate (e.g. by a hopper that only gets powered every once in a while), and a bellows have a chance to blow at the feathers once or twice before e.g. a sticky piston pull...

Re: MC 1.3: Pigmen Spawn near Nether Portals
Heck, I still think that the nether is extremely tame when it comes to invading overworld, I wouldn't even mind if uncontrolled bloodwood growths somehow invaded overworld. The thought has crossed my mind, but that would ultimately only serve to further devalue the Nether. i think nether growth wou...
