Hi. Maybe some of you can help me understand why my trap isn't working.

I build a small tower. Filled it with two layers of spawnpads. Each spawnpad consists of 2 layers of jungleleaves and is above the sealevel. I cleared all jungle around the trap.
But still no spiders spawning. What am I missing?

I managed to get my hands on a log spike - thanks to a creeper - it will become an intergral part of my base...

Finally I can enjoy HC-spawn - it nearly drove me away from btw for a while and I tended to cheat to avoid it. But with this new changes I don't mind it as much.

Why?

One of the first bigger projects for most players is a mob grinder. As soon as you have one working in your world, Iron should never be a problem again. In my opinion the loss of remelting iron tools just incentivizes the player to start this rather time consuming projekt.

Currently you can grow mushrooms on mushroom-stem-blocks but not on mushroom-head-blocks.
