Re: The Return To Home: Delayed (a.k.a. Eureka Part III)
Another announcement: I've made another decision... Fuck being a plug-in. BTW will remain a mod. My philosophy has always been "if I want something in the game, I'm modifying anything I need to in order to make that happen, compatibility be damned". It has allowed me to do things that ver...

Thanks man, glad you like it! I'll try to respond to each of these suggestions individually - I do like some of them. Anyway, thanks for the interest man! I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the suggestions! :) No, thank you for taking the time to make this mod, and for your responses. I know that...

Re: Morvelaira's MC News Compilation
I'm pretty sure the ability to open your "survival inventory" is simply because even in creative, you still have the 27 slots (and the armor slots) that aren't your hotbar. This just means that you can actually use those slots without having to use something else (a block, item, or entity...

Re: BTW Deco Add-on ( pre-release v0.4.2 - updated 5/14)
Hey, kaos, I just wanted to say that I'm really liking the way this add-on is turning out. I'm going to wait to use it until the block ID thing is finished (as I only have one world, and I don't want any issues with it), but I can't wait to give it a try. I love aesthetics and this is going to be a ...

Re: Morvelaira's MC News Compilation
Hmm, not sure what to think about this newest snapshot. I don't think I like it much, seems a bit unbalanced. Trading is OP, Ender Chests are probably OP, pointless ore is pointless, unless I can make emerald blocks for decoration... I guess it's good news that even at the MCF there are others that ...

Do be mindful where you place fire/lava since it looks rather flammable.

Re: So I made a windmill..
I think you'll fit in just fine here man. Thank you for that. I appreciate the welcome. I'm the same way in that I've been playing the same world since I started playing MC over a year ago. One of the things about the mod is that I've always designed it so that people could integrate it rather seam...

Re: How Minecraft has changed me as a gamer
First off, I don't really describe myself as a gamer. Although I've played video games for at least 20 years now, and have had lots of favorites during that time (Zork, Sierra Online games, SimCity, Diablo series, to name a few), I don't keep up with the gaming world and the newer things in it, espe...

Re: So I made a windmill..
I've made it a point to always try to settle on the edge of a desert in my BTW worlds, simply because windmills look so amazing that its a shame to limit them to the visual. Awesome looking compound, but unless you have a vast underground complex, you will need to expand a lot on it to fit in BTW s...

Re: So I made a windmill..
Your compound is rockin'. You'll have to share more of it as you progress. I find that I focus more on large factory builds these days and I'm usually just powering through the tech-tree (IE windmills) so fast that my windmill become a temporary structure stuck on a column of cobble. Nice to see so...

Re: So I made a windmill..
Glad you're enjoying it man :) Yes, it's very cool--pretty much exactly as Minecraft should feel, in my opinion. It's the mechanical power--it just feels right for the game. I'm still very new to the mod, so it will be fun working throughout the tech tree and seeing firsthand how to fit it all toge...

So I made a windmill..
...and it was good. http://i.imgur.com/IFiTm.jpg Of course this is nothing compared to what most of y'all make, I'm sure, but for me, the mechanical functionality added by this mod has given me a new view of Minecraft. I had always been impressed by creative builds that featured windmills and waterw...
