Re: one simple question
PS: my grammar is realy horrible... had to edit this twice and i´m sure there still are mistakes Don't worry about the specific grammar too much man. No one here is too much of a grammar nazi. Just make sure to read your posts and clean up the major typos and epic grammar bombs. We're a fairly unde...

Re: one simple question
I can see a few reasons for the lock. Firstly, someone made an almost identical suggestion about the soap earlier, which FC decided against. Second, you have made a few questionable suggestions quite recently, which tends to annoy FC really quickly. Finally, the grammar and spelling in all of your p...

Baby Animal Location
I'm posting this in Tech Support because I'm not sure if this is a feature change, a bug, or a personal problem. Anyway, I seem to remember that baby animals (and the accompanying placenta) appeared between the two parents. However, using the latest release, the baby is appearing directly under one ...

Re: Charcoal factory
My solution for a similar problem was to build a tube style kiln. I started by pistoning urns into the tube, with a water flow going into the side of the tube. I used a BD clock that is filled with half solid and half non solid blocks. When it pulses over a solid block, it pushes another urn into th...

Re: Iron Golems drop XP
Ehh... but why? There are so many other constructive ways to get xp, and this is truly more of a vMC kind of suggestion. Maybe iron golems just don't drop it because they aren't alive (or unliving...), they're machines. On the other hand, the recent snapshots indicate that mining ores and smelting ...

Iron Golems drop XP
As I was using my shiny new golem farm, I was surprised to see that the golem wasn't dropping any XP. It seems natural for the golems to start dropping XP so they can match up with the villagers they defend. Also, they're pretty tough to kill, so if any mob should drop experience, it should be the i...

Re: Dissapearing Hoppers
Huh, even though there are blocks in between the hopper and the fire, and the hopper is not directly on top of the fire, I guess its still spreading. Ok, I guess surrounding it should fix the problem. Unless there's something else going on here, go ahead and lock 'er up.

Re: Dissapearing Hoppers
Wait, are hoppers extra flammable or something? Those fires are not stoked at the moment, so if I remember the way fire spreads correctly, it shouldn't be able to jump through the kiln blocks to light that hopper on fire.

Dissapearing Hoppers
I'm in the process of setting up a new automatic soul urn machine. Everything was going fine, but when I climbed down from my factory tower, I noticed a massive stream of water cascading off of it. I climbed back up to find that the hopper that will add urns to a dispenser had disappeared. Figuring ...

FlowerChild, you are officially a master of suspense. I think a lot of the major game industries could use you somewhere in their marketing/PR departments. From one short forum post, you will now have me obsessively checking to see if the latest update has come out yet.

Hey, great drawings everyone! I especially loved Rikby's entry for this week. However, I'd also like to suggest that we add a warning to Tekei's submission (and any others like it in the future) to the front of the post as well, by all the quick links. It would be a tough thing to explain if you ope...

Forge's New Modloader
So I was looking at the page for the Invasion mod, and saw this: As of v3.x of Forge, they are dropping ModloaderMp and pursuing the new FML(Forge Modloader) as their solution. So, Forge will be Modloader + FML only. This means the current release of Invasion Mod is incompatible with Forge in 1.2.5....

Re: Backpack Mod for 1.2.5
I don't think the price of a single soul urn is anywhere near what I would consider would balance this. Maybe if wearing the backpack increased food consumption and decreased your sprinting speed. That does seem a bit more balanced. Steve can already carry quite a bit of stuff, but with this mod yo...

Re: Adding Installer Support
On a more friendly note, there's a gorgeous installation guide here.
I didn't create the guide, but it is still really helpful. Also, as a side note, assuming the OP didn't get banned, don't mention Technic pack around here. It doesn't go over well.
EDIT: Nevermind, it sounds like FC ninja'd me.

Wow. As it so happens, I've been scanning through various MC related forums today to solve a tech problem I had. The goal of this mod has never been to make something easier. Thanks for clearing that up. I was almost s...
