Re: Outside Conversations

In my experience, religious debates are basically always about who can formulate the same old re-hashed arguments the best. That and some mumbling about evolution of course. I'll try to catch up and see if the linked debate is an exception.

Mostly computer these days, I have a Playstation 2 I used to play on a lot, though. Recently, I've been replaying games like Jak & Daxter and Dark Chronicle and I must say, they're still as awesome as they were 2 years ago.

My first world was basically a huge-ass cave, no dungeons though. I eventually deleted it when I accidently flooded the whole thing with lava.

They weren't useless though you need them for mechanical power in the Nether. Oh, right. Has anyone ACTUALLY built one in the nether? That's a non-argument. http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/2811/hellevator.jpg Getting the glass there was probably the most convoluted task I've done in my life and th...

Re: Opinions on MMORPGs

Used to play Guild Wars (which is technically not an MMO), will be buying Guild Wars 2. If I understand correctly, GW2 characters will be UAX as soon as they enter high-end PvP, which was a major obstacle to many people in early GW. I'm also liking how the combat looks so far.

Re: Katamari Damacy?

I've played this one, it's quite amusing indeed. The version that I played had a bug where any new ball would start out at the size the previous one had. I presume that's been fixed in more recent releases?

Re: IMPORTANT: Upcoming changes

Currently, I can avoid searching for slimeballs by taking the somewhat more tedious road of getting a windmill first. Since saws won't work with hand cranks anymore, will this mean I'll HAVE to get slimeballs to proceed on the tech tree?

Re: Need help understanding a math concept

First of all, note that you can even make integers by multiplying/dividing irrational numbers; for example, if sqrt(a) denotes the square root of a, then 3/2 sqrt(2) multiplied by 2 sqrt(2) is equal to 3. As for the rational numbers, I'll just go through each of the operators. From here on, Q repres...

Mathematics? I luuuuuuuv mathematics. This is the material we used for Linear Algebra: http://www.mathe2.uni-bayreuth.de/stoll/lecture-notes/LinearAlgebraI.pdf I would recommend skipping most of chapter 6 (except for the definitions) and the entire chapters 7, 9, 10 and 16.
