Off the top of my head I know that EE uses C, though I`m not sure about the others. It would probably be worth a check of that MCF thread.(Which I would do, except the MCF is blocked while I'm at school :P)

If I recall, that used to be correct, but in order to allow pushing unfired pottery with a piston this functionality was moved into the brick block beneath the unfired pottery.

Yeah, if its a hard thing to patch don't worry about it. You've done enough work over the last few days without delving into vanilla world conversion bugs.

Congrats, and thanks for using this thread to update us on what the update process was like. This insight on what the update process was like (even with the MCP idiocy) was very interesting to observe.

Re: Semi-Automatic Nether Portal
I had a similar set up, and instead of logs I used workbenches. they won`t burn away, but they will allow the fire to spread. (this was awhile ago, so its possible that this trick doesn't work anymore, but worth a try)

Re: How to have Multiple Minecraft Installs Without switchin
That works, but an easier way to do essentially the same thing(multiple .minecraft folders) is to use a tool like minecraft profile manager:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/540 ... e-manager/
just select a profile, click launch, and off you go.

Re: Turntable wont work
Have you tried sacrificing a wolf to the turntable gods yet? build an altar out of turntables and companion cubes, sit the wolf on it, and then sacrifice it to the turntable gods with an enchanted battleaxe. That's what I do when something doesn't work. Other than that, is it connected to mechanical...

Blood sapling bug
Block Dispensers will not place a blood sapling on a planter containing soul sand. They can be planted by hand or by throwing a blood sapling onto the planter, but not placed by a block dispenser.

Is it possible that the textures for one or more of these could be stored in the BTWTerrain.png? This would allow texture pack creators to customize which sub-blocks they use.

Is the eureka small enough to accommodate a method of getting the cracked/mossy stone bricks along with it? No. It's an entirely new system that delves into parts of the Minecraft code-base I've never touched before. Your decorative bricks get the big triage :) My God. O_O *drools in anticipation*

Re: Launcher Destruction!
not exactly a solution, but what I do when a new update comes out is backup my jar, then allow it to update. once it has done that, the version file is updated, and it will no longer ask to update. You can then restore your jar, and it will still not ask you to update. Its a little bit of work, but ...

Its a little resource heavy at the beginning, but for the amount of dung that it produces it seems worth it. I should have built it out of solid blocks instead of siding, but that's easy enough to fix later.
